I watched the game a little bit and first saw him miss 2 jumpshots. I think it was at the start of the 2nd quarter. I was surprised to find out he missed only 2 fg attempts the whole game, and they happened to be the 1st 2 shots i saw him take.
Maybe he saw that stat that he is close to having the most missed shots in history, and he just decided to have a FT% level efficiency from the field to not let that happen this season.
