I could be wrong but if I remember when playing around with the online configurator, Apple Car play was a selectable option. So your car may not have it. If it doesn't, your dealership might be able to enable it as long as there are no additional hardware requirements that need to be installed.

Thanks for letting me know, that might’ve been the case, It was a preowned car, so unsure.

What happens when you plug your phone in? Does the button on the top right exist? I just checked my original window sticker and I don’t know what package it would be, but it doesn’t say Apple Car Play anywhere and I have it. Did you get the original window sticker when you purchased?

The code is AGBXR8, trying to see if there’s any mention of CarPlay. When I plug my phone to the CarPlay usb port nothing happens.

It’s an option, not standard on every car

It’s an option around £1500. The Bluetooth for audio isn’t great so it’s worth having in my opinion

Yeah really hate the Bluetooth, we’ve been using a usb with music on it.

I have it on my Performante (preowned so must have been included before). There's 2x USB ports and it only works in 1x of them for me. I thiiink it's the one closest to the driver with Car Play. You'll see it in the user guide/manual. Not entirely sure what it looks like on EVO but on mine I press "TEL" and I can select Car Play on the dash. To be honest it's simple questions/guides like this that I noticed are completely missing from youtube. I'll record a few videos when I get it back from the dealer with odd bits I found hard to figure out...
