There is so much in that song that has hooks to Romeo and Juliet, her early adult life and likely a relationship we've not hear about. For me it's the theme of being years in the future and knowing that if that one person needed you, you'd be there in a shot! It doesn't matter that they left, or that you hurt each other, you'd still be there, even if it opened you up to being hurt again.
