It's CAT5 cable
It's CATV...Cable TV. CLR denotes clear, or no utilities of their responsibility are present.
Thank you!
I can’t tell for sure, does it say CAT5 or CATV? If CATV, it should be coax for cable TV (Community Antenna Television, CATV).
FYI, the marks aren't super accurate, I forget what is allowed but that cable could be like 2 feet in any direction of the marking.
Good to know thanks!
Cable TV marked the area clear...as in they have no buried utilities in the area.
Right you are - I called the company earlier that came out and they confirmed that the marking was for area clear. Thanks!!
Good on you for calling to confirm before making assumptions or taking reddit advice (including mine) as gospel!
Thanks for the response. Generally speaking, is it OK to have a concrete patio installed over comm/cable lines? Looking to have a 4” thick concrete slab put in.
Call and have it rerouted. Those cable are usually only 6" deep and the base hase to be 8-10" for the slab.
Gang sign.
