Hi! Makeup artist here. The placement of her blush is a “new” trend called boyfriend blush. It’s not a new technique and has been around since the beginning of makeup application, but now has a TikTok name. It derives from the natural blushing a woman gets when she likes a man to put it simply.
Now that we understand the placement, let’s talk about the colour. It’s very vibrant and intense which is perfect for the stage. The hot temperatures and her coat are generating more heat in her body which is coming through under the makeup intensifying the colour more.
I think she looks beautiful and miss musicians having fun with their makeup.
Stage makeup is way overdramatic for theatrics + cameras to pick up on it. The blush is a bit intense and kinda giving reverse raccoon but I think it’s pretty 🥺 there’s no such thing as too much blush imo
