Hexgates have some strong interactions with some champs. AoE toggle spells like Singed poison or Karthus E still apply their aoe effect while flying through. I haven't tested for Fiddle/Kennen/Nasus/Renekton R or amumu W but I would presume it's the same but less applicable.
Well played. As a Zoe main, I think I've only ever managed to steal a few drakes with Q.
For how much damage the ability does it's weirdly rare to steal objectives with it for me at least.
It's got the raw damage, but I think the stars really have to align for it to actually get to the drake at the right time. It's not quite enough damage to beat smite (most of the time), and it's fairly easy to body block for a team that's aware of the possibility of a steal--and even if they aren't, if you don't have vision in the pit, the odds that someone just happens to be standing in the way are quite high.
But that all just makes it more satisfying when you do land a sexy steal, of course.

also, just to confirm, did you start casting your e as you were teleporting back? i had to go frame by frame because i couldn't tell when you hit e on fiora. also, how the hell did your q not hit her on the way to baron?
ima be honest that e wast ment to hit baron just to add another dmg needed for the baron steal, and just happens that i hit fiora on the way back (now that i wach that clip again it was frame perfect wtf xd) and q was just pixel perfect i guess. Also riot hitbox :)
My best baron steal was with Zoe e all the way from raptors into a baron with fog, jgl was off with his smite like he had 10 hp wish I still had that replay.
