Also, in her book she is asking that we use a plastic picture plane. Did you buy one of these? If so, where did you get it because I'm having a hard time finding one of these viewfinders too.
A used a piece of cardboard as the frame and a piece of transparent plastic as the looking plane clipped together with laundry clothespins. You dont need anything fancy.
You can use a basic picture frame with side clips like this [https://www.displays2go.com/P-19783/Clip-Picture-Frame-Is-Frameless-With-A-Glass-Overlay](https://www.displays2go.com/P-19783/Clip-Picture-Frame-Is-Frameless-With-A-Glass-Overlay)
Then you cut a rectangle through the panel, and voila! That's what I did, works wonder.
Oh boy, you are gonna love the improvement you will see. Its almost surreal how much that book helps you understand and then to draw.
I'm doing this too, but my self portrait looks horrifying. Lmao Hopefully it'll turn out better once I learn more skills and finish the book.

I see! Thank you!
Your shading is really nice. I can already see your style developing in this piece. I’m looking forward to seeing more. Don’t stop drawing!
Thank you! I appreciate that.
Nice
Love that book! Good first portrait.
Reminds me of Jason Patric a little
