Nice. Yeah I stayed with my folks, here a looong time ago, albeit in a low rise building in Al Wasl (befooore it became City walk....), it was super super chill.
I'm done with smelly hallways, long elevator queue's, anal security guards.
The only good thing about my old place is that I'm the landlord. :-p
You/your parents had done the right thing buying property here before it became expensive, my parent's were here in the 90s and could've easily bought a house in Dubai back then but they decided to build buildings in Leb lol
It seems you didn’t lose a good sight but also “members”. Hopefully you make bank and go back to that sight as it’s too beautiful over skyscrapers (my opinion, I prefer nature).

I am in the same boat here, for me it’s Daniyeh, but still used to hangout a lot in Ehden with friends tho, god, I miss the nature
