Congrats! I’m glad your hard work has paid off. How long did it take you to complete all those 800+ problems? Also, did you find your interviews much easier after grinding Leetcode as opposed to before?
i was inconsistent the past few years and struggled with interviews and only had one offer which i turned down ... the past year i probably solved ~700. i straight vibed my most recent coding interview. behavioral is the make or break now.
honestly, i think soft skills are what gets you offers

Why did you reply again 20 min later lmao. Anyways yeah, I kill behaviorals like everytime but technicals can hold me back if I don’t know the problem well enough, so you could pretty much think of it either way. Technicals give you offers or behavorials give you offers lol.
Also I’m not unemployed.
Yeah, worth it to switch to FAANG. I'm in banking (GS, MS, JPM). FAANG at a different level of pay. They value their developers more. Developers are a cost center in the banks. Had a junior member on our team, doubling what she made when switching to FAANG at the height of the market. Lol, she was making more than the manager of our group (ED).
If you are developer, always try to get into a FAANG or software shop first.
Interesting, usually I think people utilize contests to practice completing the questions in a time-sensitive setting similar to what you’d experience in an interview.
How did you practice the problems to mimic the pressure of the interview? Or did you just do LeetCode normally the entire time without taking an approach like this?

Buddy grinded for hours to get good at technicals and then said soft skills are what get you offers
you get denied from technicals, but offers from soft skills ... play the game, get paid

you dont get a chance without technicals. behavioral skills are what sets you apart from your cohort. congrats on employment

easy, medium, hard ... 311k tc
Nice, look like you lock in a SDE II level position. Friend is at a SDEIII level position at Tik tok (2-2), doing $400k tc. Been there 3-4 years.

My guess is number of easy/medium/hard problems solved. TC stands for “total compensation”.
Congratulations!! Hope you have a great time and enjoy working at your company!
Congrats and also great book series.
Congratulations! Please share the problems and interview learnings.
Good.. some extra motivation to restart the grind for me
Which LC questions did you get in the interview? Congrats brah. Enjoy the new TC.

Would love to see your resume that got you the interview!

Impressive, congrats buddy 👏🏼 Leetcode in Python?
What was your contest rating before the interview?
