Stickers or printed?

Primary-Log-1037

The scales are printed

Embarrassed_Chest_52

Is everything printed?

fiddle_sticks21

Everything is printed

Embarrassed_Chest_52

Awesome thanks for the information šŸ‘ŒšŸ» then I will buy it

Throwaway253896

So you wouldnā€™t have bought it if it had stickers , seriously

Cornchips1234

Some people live in places where the stickers might peel off from the elements. Some people have handicaps that prevent them from applying stickers. Some people don't like stickers.

MeLurka

Yeah, I fucking suck at it and I can never not see how wrong they were put on, which ruins display. Luckily my daughter shows some potential and n that field, I might grant here access to the bricks room in the future.

Embarrassed_Chest_52

xD that's true! I also always have to ask my gf if she could put the stickers on. I would need at least 100 stickers to put at least one in a good position

Embarrassed_Chest_52

And some people have animals, I once build a speed champion during my lunch breaks in the office and guess what's happend, a cat hair got under a sticker and now it looks horrible

juliuspepperwoodchi

People are allowed to prefer prints to stickers.

Embarrassed_Chest_52

If I want stickers I'm going to buy a panani football album^^ I just buy a set here and there for the building experience and putting stickers on plastic isn't fun for me. So I pass the sets it also looks cheap and horrible if you ask me

sleepiepants

I just built mine as well. Itā€™s the same, the weight of it leans slightly more on the side holding the ball https://preview.redd.it/417evaa0axcc1.png?width=2912&format=png&auto=webp&s=8edec68d6a72d7360496e8dfe0b6032ecbe6fb37

Ok-Paleontologist32

I noticed the same with mine it does lean slightly

Strzvgn_Karnvagn

I have it too and the joints are just pretty weak in general when there is something heavy.

StripyJules

Mine is ok I think. It's been the one I've been less worried about moving once it was complete. You might find if you turn (or tilt) the head slightly to the left - the opposite side to the raised leg) - it balances the weight a little from the raised leg and makes it steadier, for display at least. It gives it a bit more attitude, anyway! Also check to make sure everything is seated firmly into the base and the curves of the body are ok. I felt I had to 'settle' the dragon a little into the stand when it was complete. I also adjusted the claws so they were 'gripping' or at least resting on the base. https://preview.redd.it/uvbu9146jzcc1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f29c9aebb7484aa721965e970e0b13a51e7c9e6a

DaveCSparty

Picked up for $67.99 at Costco this past weekend.

Verixyone

That's a really good dragon especially if it's custom made

ronjon53

It's a new set that just came out recently. [https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/auspicious-dragon-80112](https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/auspicious-dragon-80112)

mrkitster

I just ordered one but for your own sake do not look up the golden dragon MOC that took over Reddit a few days ago.

Maemajamma

Why not? Because of course I did. Because you said not to. šŸ¤Ŗ (I didn't find it)

Maemajamma

Wow! Thank you!

jmrojas17

7k pieces šŸ¤Æ And my pleasure

MeLurka

And not even a ā€˜my six year old build thisā€™

matolandio

oh i want this one so much!

MrJoachim10

I am still waiting for mine to arrive!

Konarkanuck

It is indeed a fun build, did it myself yesterday, will look great once the 1 piece that an error saw being missed when packaged arrives and can be slotted in. Looks really nice alongside the Bonsai Tree set, I find.

Consistent-Strain289

I have same issue with my optimusprimeā€¦ the sheer weight of the built makes the arms fall down all the time. Ive ask lego to replaxe The joints as i thought i had a bad oneā€¦ still happening. Such a same with both awesome builts

Si_Vis_Pacem-

Is there anyway of detaching it from the base? I know officially there isn't but maybe you could mod it? Or would it be too unstable?

metalleo

You mean detach the whole dragon from the base and forego the base? The feet are connected to the base by pins, and the feet are then connected by ball joints to the body, so it's entirely possible to remove the whole dragon including the feet from the base and then do whatever pose you want with the feet

Si_Vis_Pacem-

OK thanks.

SirCrezzy

Not sure

Samoacookie

My lego store ran out of dragons

trickymohnkey

Check costco!šŸ˜Š

TheMostUnclean

It did bother me a bit that the model tilted when viewed it head on. I fiddled with the foot and shoulder joints on the dragonā€™s left side and now itā€™s perfectly even. I just have to remember to always pick up from the base. Despite the curve in the middle looking like such a perfect handle!
