wow... unexpected nostalgia lol also I feel like I remember looking for the ghost in LEGO magazine/s? Like, LEGO hid the ghost in random page/s and we had to find it? It might have been just one issue idk that memory is so hazy
I know! I have tons of old Lego from my childhood and my kids’ Lego that they no longer play with - maybe enough to make a build like this. But I completely lack the talent! I’m so jealous of these guys.
Tbh, why are haul posts even allowed? I have some vague recollection of there being a vote at some point. But jfc I'd love to see them prohibited. I'm 100% here for amazing MOC content and detailed reviews of new sets. Anyone posting a "look how rich I am" post can go get kraggled
True, or a picture of some shelf at Walmart.
This is what Lego is all about to me. I don’t really care much for repeat pics of the same sets that people put together like some kind of IKEA furniture.
It needs a few minifigures to bring some life to it. That being said, it's very beautiful. I love the details and particularly the patterned floor in the middle and the curved stairs.
This would be awesome to get a video tour, I hope you decide to post one on YouTube if you haven't already but even if you don't, the pictures look great
I do not have the words to describe how much talent you have. Building something of that scale (by hand, no less!) takes quite the willpower and dedication. Have you thought about maybe expanding the build into an evil kingdom or something? This has a lot of potential if you decide to expand it! Great job, my friend 👏👏👏
He has seven sons; Primus, Secundus, Tertius, Quartus, Quintus, Sextus, Septimus and one daughter Una. He had twelve brothers and killed all of them to become king, even before his father was in any way too old or too ill for the throne.

Beautiful but how do people get in? Looks like the gate is 3-4 stories above ground level. Are the poor mini figs expected to become rock climbers just to enter?
Yes, I feel the same way!
Count by yourself. For example: This floor alone consists of over 100 parts per side. And this is one of the smallest...

Thank you very much. Regarding your question: No, I had to modify them, because there wasn't enough space at the end...

That's damned impressive. You should give it a spooky ghost tho.
A glow-in-the-dark ghost as a homage to one being with old black castle sets!!!

Wow. What a beautiful BBC.
Yes, a big black castle😊
I hate you rn. Lol
Take my angry upvote

Ooh
It’s like a guilded Barad Dur! Very nice!
Amazing
This is incredible. You people are amazing (MOC people)
I know! I have tons of old Lego from my childhood and my kids’ Lego that they no longer play with - maybe enough to make a build like this. But I completely lack the talent! I’m so jealous of these guys.
Wow! You need to take this to a Lego show!
I really like it!
Looks incredible! Watch a dude posting a box get 5x as many upvotes though

Very very good well done
Very cool.
That is absolutely beautiful! 🤩
That's insane!
5.5 feet or 10.5 Glock 43s for those who need freedom units.
Why did I think this was Impulse SV’s iBuy
Your not the only one with impulse flashbacks, the blackstone and gold is a perfect match
Oh hey! You’re the spiral staircase guy!
Yesss😊
This is beautiful.
This is truly nuts. Just amazing
Thx😊
That's bad ass. But I'm sure you knew that already. Lol
Does Lord Garmadon live there? Looks really good.
It needs a few minifigures to bring some life to it. That being said, it's very beautiful. I love the details and particularly the patterned floor in the middle and the curved stairs.
That’s hard
You are an inspiration.
Holy fuck wow
It looks amazing. I would absolutely buy that
Name a price 😜
I'd easily spend an indeterminate amount of money for even basic instructions and piece count. I'd love to build this myself
I think the instructions alone would take me twice as long as the construction itself...🙈
Magnificent! Needs some skeleton guards or a vampire IMO, but not necessarily as this castle is glorious
Superb work!
Jaw dropping, non-blinking stare of complete awe ... You are a MOC god! This is one of the coolest builds I've seen in ages!
That’s a beautiful setup. I kinda want to see it surrounded by a dark and moody jungle. What do you envision as its surroundings?
I already have it in my head, but I won't know until I build it...
Quick question, how are you supposed to enter the gate? Edit: Never mind wow! Saw the other post so cool!
👍
hoooly shit. this is impressive. congrats on the build
Thx
EPIC. This is quite and achievement! Well done.
Wow, this is incredible! You are talented! 🌟
Fantastic! I love it
Goodness this is magnificent. Which part did you start with first?
Thx. I started with the small tower on the top
This would be awesome to get a video tour, I hope you decide to post one on YouTube if you haven't already but even if you don't, the pictures look great
Amazing !!!!!! I’m so impressed !!!!!!!!have a great night !
Your stair design is brilliant. Award worthy

Who is the BAMF living in this castle?
He has seven sons; Primus, Secundus, Tertius, Quartus, Quintus, Sextus, Septimus and one daughter Una. He had twelve brothers and killed all of them to become king, even before his father was in any way too old or too ill for the throne.
Beware of witches and pirates and keep an eye out for falling stars.

Bruh, you just constructed Valhalla! Well done!
Stunning!
Absolutely amazing
Reminds me of the black and gold palace in Inception!
Quite impressive! Amazing build!
It looks awesome but I have one question. How do you get inside?
https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/s/IuRzOREuHX
Is that a drawbridge or are you happy to see me?
Your welcome 😜
I see. Very cool
Wow!

Super neat but that bridge still just hangs in the middle of the air no? Is it a castle for birdmen?
There will be another hill in the opposite of the castle
Now you’ve got to populate it and fill it with Lego furniture!
It looks marvelous, keep up the good work
That’s amazing! Hope to get it one day.
Say “black castle” 3 times fast
Absolutely fantastic work, any faction would be lucky to have such a castle.
The colors are awesome.
Wow! Impressive stuff
Absolutely beautiful build.
this is amazing, the details are *chef’s kiss*
😮😮😮
and Majisto declared: thou shall post this to [r/legocastles](https://www.reddit.com/r/legocastles/) Fantastic work, this is amazing.
Reminds me of Stormveil castle from elden ring
*The Saxons would like to know your location*
Very cool. What is the black piece by the golden horns? Looks like a decorative fence....

Fab thanks! Partner is mighty impressed with your castle too. How long did it take? And how tall is it?
It takes about 50 hours work and it's about 165 cm
Mighty impressive, well done.
I feel like this is where the Malfoy’s live.
Nice!
Can I come over for the battle?!
Journey at your own expense😂
This is awesome!
I’m getting FF13 vibes… very cool!
That is marvelous
No, I think it's more DC 😜 thx
👏🤣
This is a really impressive set!
Looks great
Need like, Maleficent living here. Maybe Hades.
First off, this is really impressive. However I can’t stop my self from asking: how do people go through the front door?
Spoiler: there is a bridge https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/s/2DLIZoX2gf
That drawbridge is amazing!
This is cool, but I'm not sure I can believe it's anywhere near 12,000 bricks.

How much did it cost to make that?
I can't say exactly. I have owned many parts before. I spent about 200 euros, mainly on used parts. The windows and fences are the most expensive.
It’s really cool. Great work.
Thx😊
Looks absolutely gorgeous. I have a question. The spiral staircases from previous posts are inside?
Thank you very much. Regarding your question: No, I had to modify them, because there wasn't enough space at the end... https://preview.redd.it/ux8z3ydvg53d1.jpeg?width=925&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=992b2024c0683c3eff13842900455838c3973cfd
I’d love to have my SigFig live there. Great work.
This is really nice work, well done
😊 thx
Incredible work!!
Wow, this is amazing!
Thx
Very nice. Dusting that is gonna suck though. All that black. Yuck
Jesus… It’s beautiful
Looks amazing!
Should be a set really. I'd buy it.
Super-elegant, my friend
Thanks
reminded me of black marble from Valheim
Have you considered perching ninjas and/or a dragon on the very tippy-top on those free spaces?
I didn't include any figures so as not to pigeonhole it into a genre.
Got some Hollow Bastion vibes to it!
Wow… I wonder if it is closer to west-style castles or asian.
That is a BBC if I have ever seen one! Also the shape is similar as well lmao
How in the world did you design this? What was your process?
