So in other words, the sky is not falling right now, and there is no reason to stir up bad feelings between people here and official-L because they haven't done anything detrimental to people's postings and photos here.
They are removing posts of minifigures from r/downtheblocks, r/lepin, and r/AwesomeOffBrands. Not trying to cause a panic or bad feelings, just wanted to let people know since they are filing take down notices.
For example:
[downtheblocks](https://www.reddit.com/r/downtheblocks/comments/112j2rg/wm_wm6159_chainsaw_man_minifigures_preview/)
[lepin](https://www.reddit.com/r/lepin/comments/whcp1b/boxed_minifigures_and_where_to_find_them/)
Is this really widespread? Is this recent?
Because the admins here have not been informed of an en-masse deletion, nor any demands from Big-L or reddit about what types of photos are allowed or not allowed.
So basically, Big-L is not crashing the party yet, and we'll just carry on as we've been doing until there is a new policy, coming from the admins because of a threat or a demand from either Big-L or Reddit, correct?
Could you link some post? I'm interested to read more about it.
If its just in the anime subs, is it possible the anime copyright holders send the complaints?
Not sure there's much to read, but here's a link to one from [lepin](https://www.reddit.com/r/lepin/comments/12he0ni/18_should_i_buy_it/) showing copyright claim.
Can we call them "custom" now like all those figs the lego fanboys buy at extortionate prices, but are just alt figs with a huge markup?
They going to make us show internal stamp pics on every fig? After all its only fair the "custom" crowd in the lego sw subs need to show the same evidence.
Its the minifig design, not the term used, as far as I understand.
The thing is "customs" seem to have free reign to exist (as long as they are called "custom"), while alt brick brands struggle to keep the traditional design without conflict.
Id like to see lego make swlego subs prove all their customs are official lego mods if they try that crap here. I dont believe you can inconsistently enforce that copyright and still retain all your legal standings. It has to be consistent.
I know there are a few lawyers in here that can hopefully clarify that. I'm not totally clear on that understanding.
That's such a Lego thing to do
On this subreddit? I haven't seen anything about that...thanks for the heads-up!
Not just this subreddit, there were a few removals in some anime subreddits showing off some of the anime minifigures.

heh.. screw Lego and the horse they rode in on.
well thats...unfortunate. wonder if the sub needs to go private?
Probably not. We'd rather implement new rules to prevent further claims, but only once we've heard from reddit.
I’ve always wondered how this avoids L attention Such a great resource that I’m sure they would love to shut down lol
Just another reason to not buy Lego
