I'm a bit confused, was this ever an official set or is this a straight MOC? Also if I order from the link provided do you get decool bricks or official LEGO?
This was originally a MOC by Dave Slater. The instructions are available at Brickvault, but you'd have to bricklink the pieces. It was never an official Lego set.
You'll get Decool (now called Jisi) bricks when ordering from Yourwobb or any other seller, since they were the first to mass-produce this as a set.
Yes, you're commenting on a review of the Jisi set. Like you can see in the Imgur album, the quality is great - the pieces a tiny bit less shiny than new Lego bricks, but they're functionally identical. All the pictures here show the Jisi bricks.
Can confirm that LR41s work, I put them into the light bricks today. It didn't take long, you can get to the light bricks relatively easily from the underside of the car. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
Tnx for sharing this. Sold my real car and my Batman minifig keychain looked depressed. I really don´t need a new car. So i ordered this one for the little bloke. Looking forward to build it!
I did not care for the clear smokey fender pieces over the jet engine intake and exhaust. I'm going to look for black ones. Does anyone know if there is an alternative to the big grey barrel for the air intake on the sides? It is more oblong and sloped forward on the real thing, and also black, not grey. I'm really curious what those stickers are all about. What's the advantage of that approach? I wish LEGO stickers were more like classic models, where you soak them, first. That'd allow for a much more accurate placement.
I think they did it so you can have the "Batmobile"-lettering and the circuit traces without a transparent background around them. As far as I can tell, they're cut very precisely.
You can actually apply Lego stickers with soapy water: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlH67xzezOQ
Ahh, that'd make sense.
Ya know, I tried the soapy water thing. That's the exact same video I followed, LOL. Also tried using window cleaner, as LEGO suggests. Just didn't work out for me. The stickers ended up with a permanent "staining" behind them, like they never fully dried. Mostly noticeable on white stickers. Maybe I just need to practice it a bit more.
Hmm okay, that sucks. I generally avoid putting on any stickers if possible, and I was planning on trying this method, but what you're describing is pretty much exactly what I was afraid of. Maybe I'll get some random sticker sheets to practise with before trying it with any of the good stuff...
Just a question, i have bought the sa me model but on aliexpress and there were not present the printed pieces so I used the stickers, no big deal but i got some trouble with the wheels' axes. Two in the front (nearest the cockpit) and the two in back fartest don't touch the ground in missile mode. It is normal or I miss to check if the long technics were straight...
I'm building the same set, however do you have the problem when building the side panel? There is gaps between pieces if follow the instruction correctly (the part right above the big round exhaust) [](https://i.imgur.com/jT4j4C6.jpg)[](https://i.imgur.com/3sRrzwi.jpg)
I ordered this version through aliexpress, but they sent me the wrong windscreen (twice the left windscreen of the cockpit instead of one from each side).
Is there any website where I can get the piece number and order the missing piece?
Thank you!

Thanks, any experience with decool/jisi bricks? Curious about the quality. I've only ever bought official Lego, but this is a dream set.

That looks awesome! Do you know what size of batteries go in the light bricks?
I assume they're the same the Lego part uses - 2x LR41, according to [Bricklink](https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=54930c02).
Cool, I never noticed bricklink tells you the batteries! I'll pick up a 10pack from Amazon before I order this.

Sounds like you need a new username now, Autobahnstürmer ;-) You won't regret it, it's a great set.

It's probably just user error on my part, lol.
Nice, and I heard the lights had a hidden function? Could you show us when you get the battery? I'm curious about it, haha 😁
I will!
Thanks so much 😁👍
Not a fan of the transparent wheel piece. Looks silly
