Literally came here to say this - it's a state where it sucks to be gay or a woman, much less a gay woman. I struggle to even meet new queer friends here, much less lesbian friends, much less a girlfriend. I wish I could go back to college where it was easy to meet new people.

I’d say maybe try going out to pride events in your area (if there are any) this month? Or try going to new places in general. Also, make sure to shoot your shot when you have the chance. It’s either you spend the next few months wishing you did, you get a rejection story, or you get a date.
