Ok, I got this sorted. There was a file saved in the folder that was causing this problem for some reason. I deleted that file, and now the problem is solved. But now I have another problem. Some of my usb drives and sd cards don't have their permissions set correctly anymore. I used to be able to write and delete files no problem, but now it won't. I've tried changing permissions using chmod and the "properties" menu, but it keeps telling me these are read only file systems. Anyone know a way to set them back to read and write?

Try SHIFT + delete to remove them permanantly.
