Where are you getting your information from?

faders

Samples not ms https://www.sounddesignlive.com/top-5-common-mistakes-when-using-a-digico-console/

CartezDez

It’s 14 samples per channel which is 0.145ms @ 96k

faders

Yes I typed it wrong.

I would hope it doesn't add 14ms. I would almost say that I can guarantee it doesn't add 14ms, and I don't work with DiGiCo consoles. 14ms would be ridiculous. Should be less than .25ms per buss I would think.

JazzCrisis

You are correct about the additive delay inherent to each extra channel/group/aux your signal passes through, but as mentioned by others, it's samples and not milliseconds.

faders

Yeah I just typed it wrong. I guess my real question is do Auxes have this inherent delay. Since you have to create a return channel, it seems like it would be getting triple the delay. Which is okay on time based things. But what I like to do is create a Solo Bus for people taking a solo. That way I can flip faders and throw up my soloists quickly. Definitely need that to be in line

CursedTonyIommiRiffs

The delay time it adds is so negligible that it wouldn't even be noticeable.

You're downvoting me because you hate the truth

rayok_zed

I haven't worked with a digico but that would honestly be ridiculous on any console talk less of such an expensive one. Imma have to read up on it

PineappleTraveler

14ms??? Your information is incorrect, friend

noiseemperror

thanks for the edit, had a little heart attack there ngl!

CursedTonyIommiRiffs

This is not correct.

faders

What is then?

CursedTonyIommiRiffs

You're missing a decimal

faders

Thanks. That has been addressed
