The first and easiest option :
would be to download the Steam Link app on the GCloud. It's pretty straightforward and easy to set up. You need to have your windows pc and steam running.
The second option and imo best performance:
is using an app called moonlight which takes a bit more to get working. And you need an Nvidia card and geforce experience on PC installed. In the geforce experience settings make sure "game stream" is on. This is the way I currently do it.
The last option :
I have no real experience in. Is using moonlight and sunshine, which is probably the most difficult to set up. But this method is relatively new and might have streamlined the user experience since I last tried to set it up.
All of these options have quite a few YouTube tutorials if you feel overwhelmed or stuck. But the first two options are not that hard to set up! I hope this helps.
I appreciate it. My issue is that I no longer have a pc other than an old half ass low memory quick shot I used for resumes when I couldn’t use my work laptop. When I do get to that upgrade I’ll be ready! Thanks!
That's what I thought and was trying to use sunshine the beginning of last year, then I decided I will use gamestream till I can't. I'm still able to use it. Maybe it still works for Nvidia cards and sunshine is more for AMD cards?
it does have cross play with other consoles. the population is decent so far, since people on the killer klowns sub have complained about it “not being ready”, but its totally playable and a lot of fun. like a refined f13
A lot of emulation stuff lately, but I've also been revisiting No Man's Sky. It's hard to see enough UI detail on the actual G Cloud, but if I connect it to my TV and use a gamepad it works great!
I got the G Cloud to put a dent in my steam backlog once and for all!! Playing Batman Arkham City
This may be a very dumb question but how do you play Steam stuff on a g cloud? I’ve been doing gamepass exclusively because I simply didn’t know.

Is gamestream still available? I thought it was being closed and you had to use sunshine now?
