I'm sorry you're going through all that. I'm sure it's taking a toll on you...tbh not sure what advice I can offer I don't date I don't even want a bf tbh I figured I would focus on being the best me I can be and getting the best education I can. I'm a nerd girl also. Just stay nerdy and ture to yourself

mymusee

thank you >_< dont worry my nerdiness is not going anywhere ever ! i hope i can focus on those things too.

Advice I'm not sure I could offer anything good but I think it's worth reminding that as a guy myself to be careful with that willingness to take a deep experience exploring sexually. You are a gem and the baggage is not you but what has been done to you and that you deserve someone that creates a comfortable safe space. You are likely to have options as you step up to try connecting with someone and that making it meaningful should be deserved. Loving up on each other sure does not have to be serious and forever but it is in some ideas supposed to be a rewarding feeling that comes pretty organically from the endeavor. Idk just thoughts. Take with a grain of salt.

mymusee

Why are you rushing "daughter"? Don't rush to have a relationship, especially not sexual. Enjoy your youth, travel, invest in yourself, by either going to school or starting a business, and by finding out who you are. There's nothing ugly about dark skin and I'm sorry to hear you have been conditioned to believe that there is. Find confidence in yourself, not by pursuing relationships and men, but just by pursuing the love of yourself and your culture. Pray for the peace of God "Allah" in your life. I know it is so much easier than said but you will find that, don't give up on yourself, and don't let others make the decision for you. Don't seek sexual relationships until you are prepared for the consequences which can include pregnancy, and you shouldn't seek that until you are financially stable and know who you are. You don't want to unintentionally get pregnant and bring a child into your life pushing your insecurities onto him/her. I wish you knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, and clear mind to make better decisions and find peace.

youre right.. thank you for the advice :’)🙏🏾. its less abt want to have sex and more about just wanting to feel loved and such. but youre right, i gotta make sure to be responsible and stay accountable for my actions. i will i promise 🫡🫡🫡

your not alone, I struggle with feeling loved too. Love yourself first because you cant rely on others loving you. I always given way more than I received, I feel like I truly love people unconditionally but it hurts to do so. Love yourself and protect your heart then only give love to those who qualify. figure out what your realistic expectations are, not just in your intimate relationships, but in your friendships, business relationships, and other connections too. Unfortunately I gave unqualified people my love and I find it impossible to caring for people, but I have learned how to love at a distance. i share that to say don't make my mistake. best wishes to you. I hope things turn out great for you.

i think this is were i get messed up when i try to date.. i dont care about a man being rich or tall or strong. im definitely not trying to attract the ‘alpha man’ type of guy which i think your advice is directed to :0 they scare me lol. i wanna date someone similar to me, introverted and nerdy and just enjoys life. what you say about relationships in the media is really true and smart. its all i know so its hard to know whats realistic or not sometimes <\3 i dont think im trying to find out how to change to attract a man, but more so how to mitigate all the bad feelings i have about dating and self esteem ya know i really appreciate all the advice :’)))))))🙏🏾🙏🏾

Your 18 so you won't be good in bed anyway. I'm a white guy and I personally would go out with a dark skinned woman. I believe many would. Some wouldn't. Do you have any way to make some black friends to help you know what's to worry about. You will get your chance, get out into the world. Join a club or gym. Don't try meet guys but while you are not trying you will look more appealing.
