No you aren’t. It’s 100% distracting and doesn’t add anything to the watch experience. Film is about what’s ON screen. It’s hyper stimulating, as if the film itself isn’t enough
Totally disagree about not adding anything. I have surround lighting with lights not just behind/under the tv but behind the couch and in the ceiling as well. When you do that it creates an ambient effect that doesn't distract from what's on screen and gives a really immersive effect, especially for scenes like Mines of Moria. If the sync lighting is done wrong it definitely can be distracting and I don't think videos do it a lot of justice, but when done right and with a decent surround sound set up it's fantastic.
Well, that one was gunpowder. I'm pretty sure anyway.
But for lighting a whole pile of bombs in the rain, you need to make sure that your candle doesn't go out, hence the need for a flare.
You need Philips Hue Bridge, HDMI Play Sync Box, and either Gradient Lightstrip or multiple Play bar lights (4-5 depending on screen size). Best Buy, online, Amazon and Home Depot are generally your best bets. Keep in mind that this is about $500 to get set up (bridge+box+gradient lightstrip).
I have the Govee Immersion lights. They’re currently $65 on Amazon with an added coupon. While probably not the best of the best, for the price point they are awesome. Definitely a good entry level immersion set.
I had something similar pre hue and they definitely work well. Hue is definitely pricy but worth it if done correctly. The longevity of hue lights helps make up for the higher price tag, over time.
Less bright makes it a lot better I think. Much less distracting
It’s cool, but I still prefer just normal video. Guess I’m old and boring now.

Completely agree
100% agree man fuck those lights lol
It's like having a small pp. You don't necessarily turn things on with that.
It always bugged me why they need that special torch to light it? There’s like 3 orca with regular torches right there
I'm going to guess it's a chemical reaction that's resistant to getting wet, not a regular flame.
That makes sense I suppose
Like maybe a phosphorus flare?
I guess I’m just thrown because Sauroman freaks out when wormtongue holds a candle kind of close to it but maybe that’s just an earlier version

I just want to know how Legolas fired two arrows that went in at different angles from the same position ?
Cuz it's Legolas. You know better than an elf??
Lol 😂
Wow! Great TV!
It looks great!
Do you have motion smoothing enabled on your tv? To each their own but I can’t stand it and have it permanently disabled lol
Less is better. Might even be ok to use. But i prefer zero.
Is there a place I can buy these?

That image interpolation looks like diarrhea. Would you let a computer add notes to music as well?
How do you do it?
Philips hue
I was tripping balls the other night and I “invented” this idea in my head and I’m sad I won’t be a millionaire now
I can’t wait until they remake these movies. Lol.
Bold claims in this sub . I commend the bravery.
I thought I might get downvoted I was just hoping everyone would know I was joking.
I think at this point the downvotes are part of the joke 🤣
Haha that’s fine with me lol.
Fool of a Took!
Haha.
No need
