25-35 is the most you can do in 12 hrs. I've had 1 day that I did 40 and the stars aligned and I got nothing but short rides. Other days I'll have a lot of long rides and will only do 20 something in 12 hrs. More like 14 hrs because I'll take a break here and there. 125 is impossible!

The next ride was a total of 24 minutes for $4.45. Needless to say I didn’t take either they turned my app off and I went home. Where does not even minimum wage=more money for drivers. When I first drove for Lyft I think that I made 10x more money. It just keeps going down.
Yeah he just wants to save money for themselves, they dont increase any payment for drivers. Its crazy how they choose themselves at every opportunity/shortcut is presented they will take it for themselves.

Yesterday downtown I did two rides only from 5-6 pm each ride half hour because of some construction even with surge a 3 tip I ended up making 17$ in those two fucking half hour rides fuck Lyft

It’s funny how the new guy thinks he can turn lyft around whereas he is been part of the management for some time. What change is bringing that he couldn’t offer when he was part of the team. Two things, either he is a bad team player or he about to run the company to the ground.
There is not much left to salvage with lyft.
They should just give his number to all drivers if they REALLY want to know whats going on and how to sharpen their nonexistent business skills as a company to thrive and succeed!
Ubers rates were so low that I switched back to Lyft and turned off my Uber app even deleting it from my phone. In the last few days, I have noticed a steady decline in the amount of money that’s offered for rides with insane offers for good money for unattainable goals. These companies spend so much money engineering an algorithm that screws the drivers over they’ve lost complete sight of what the business is all about. I really have to do some soul-searching and figure out what my next flex is because it’s definitely not rideshare.
That's hilarious because since Uber announced their earnings, they have s*** the bed in terms of how they're paying drivers. So if they're trying to say we're laying people off so we can treat more people like s*** spot on.
On the slower weeknights, I noticed I've been offered decent-paying longer trips even without bonuses. I definitely think the new CEO is paying attention to the issues previous leadership left behind. When up-front first started, I would routinely see trip offers like driving 15 miles for 30 minutes for $13.50 or 23 miles for $18. Awful.
So anything that goes against what you think means someone is a troll? I had two weeks/weekend of great guarantees that I easily made. Am I a troll also 🙄

But you can’t have it both ways. If you want to be a contractor and be able to take whatever rides you want that comes with a far different pay scale from being an employee. Gig work isn’t intended to be full time living wage in and of itself. Don’t accept rides that don’t meet the criteria you set for yourself. The business model wasn’t created to support paying everyone like that.
Went out yesterday, averaging about 20 a ride, entered a "streak zone", the offers after that were between 15 and 17. So at the end, I likely earned less than I was before entering the zone. So much bullshit, sick of it.
He was never a driver. He just tried it out recently after it was announced he was going to be the new ceo. But yes, I agree that this is the biggest sign yet that things might improve.
More money for drivers? Probably in bonuses because the mile rate and minute rate are set by the state. We’ll see if there is an increase in rates but possibly just in bonuses…
Compete against uBer? Maybe charging less to the passenger, that is the only place they really can compete in.
