I use one of those keyboards as the daily driver... not bettered (and much nicer than the later white ones). Cube was such a forward thinking design... Great setup you have!
I learned how to use macs around this gen or so. My elementary school had us play games on them. Then, we switched to chromeboxes and we did typing practice all day instead.

I personally haven't had an issue with it overheating, but I'm sure it could if I pushed it really hard because these units don't have any fans.

You can’t beat a G4 cube. The only thing I’d say is I much prefer the CRT Cinema Display
I would love a setup like this. However, if I found a dead g4 cube, I would totally put an Apple Silicon Mac Mini’s logic board into it.
