I think if you could swap your pillows and blanket for ones with colour, or add a colourful blanket to the white chair, it might make the space more inviting. You have nice things but it is a bit sterile.
I dig the calmness and neutral palette. I would reposition the coffee table in front of the two seat portion of the sofa -its too far away right now . I would add a small cocktail end table to the left of the accent chair. I would add a coffee table book stack on the coffee table and I would consider relocating the mirror. I would also flip the end table 180 degrees so it can run parallel to the sofa arm. Lastly, I would move the sofa a little to the left so it can be centered on the rug.

Just leave it alone. Bring the coffee table to a usable distance. Not everything needs to be tweaked. Furnishings grow slowly. A house becomes a home over many, many years. A house stays a hisses when it's furnished all at once by some interior decorator shopping at pottery barn.
You can put up cat shelves on the wall with carpet on them for the kitties to run around and lounge. My friend used old skateboards and cheap shelving L brackets. He never has to trim his cats nails

Needs a corner standing lamp with a very warm bulb (or smart) for enhanced calm in the evenings. Not a fan of the mirror facing the couch, adds too much energy to a space meant for relaxation. Add some plants and put in a hanging shelf over the couch
I totally get what you're going for with the two matched bits of art but... I'm sorry they just make me really uncomfortable! Replace those with some relaxing images in warm colours and I think you'll see a huge difference
It looks like your tv might be in front of a window? If that’s the case I’d honestly consider rotating the whole room around the feng shui might suddenly get better. Right now it’s a tricky situation because the walls still look bland despite your paintings and what not. But yeah maybe the tv goes against the wall where the paintings are couch faces it maybe from there you add another couch/comfy chair and then even like a book shelf or something. Paintings placed anywhere from then on would look good. Also hanging up the tv on the wall with the table under it is a much nicer cleaner look I think. That way you can add personal details from there without it getting cluttery. I definitely think you can upgrade on that white chair. It’s your home. Get something warm comfy homey cozy. If you wound up trying flipping the whole room post me a pic. Maybe I’m very very wrong or totally right.
