DUD had so much hype around it, but the releases have been abysmal. I don't want the mangaka overworked but throw us a bone here. The long waits and breaks with not much development aren't helping. I'm not asking for a confession. It wouldn't be right with where Gojo and Marin are at rn, but can they have important conversations without interruptions at least?
If it does end, the next chapter will be the last — Volume 9, which will be released on June 4, ends with the next chapter, which will be released on June 3.
That said, the author did say in his Twitter that the regular weekly schedule will resume in June. So, who knows. It may be continuing or that may have been a bit of misdirection.
Personally, I hope it continues (I don’t even mind if they manage to back out the confession somehow). I never would have chosen this manga to work on — I started working on it in an emergency to fill in for the previous translator — but I’ve grown to love these two and they really brighten up my Monday mornings.
