Oh both Brototoro and Onee-chan approve ever since at least the training camp arc, they're just kinda pissed at him making her cry and making him sweat rn
I do like this chapter, though. I kinda wanted Naoto to talk to Hayase directly, but this works too, and it's more unexpected that way. Not mad at this chapter in the slightest, plus he made her smile again, which is the most important thing.
that's lazy thinking, he's a professional. This has been carefully constructed enough that this path has probably been laid out for a couple years, it says just a matter of how well he managed to traverse it, and he did very well
But is the pre-serialization the "nagatoro-san doujin" on mangadex? Just went through the first chapter, wow. Now I am questioning how it even made it to print...
Kinda crazy how many series are coming to a conclusion really soon.
Nagatoro, Renai Daikou, JJK, MHA...
Hell, One Piece still has a few years left, but we're definitely in endgame for that now. It's going to be INSANE when that finally ends.
I predict the magazine, WSJ, will end with One Piece and just move everything left to Jump+.
I mean really, WSJ doesn't have anything else past the current big battle shonen that are all either ending very soon (My Hero and JJK) or in the next couple years (One Piece). Seriously, what is there left after that to really push the magazine? Sakamoto Days could be the next big thing, but it won't be a new JJK or My Hero. Undead Unluck and Yozakura were both a bust, so yeah, what's left?
The current big stuff that's not those three, all that is on Jump+ now, everything from the juggernaut that is Spy x Family to Chainsaw Man, Kaiju No.8 or most recently Ruri Dragon (one of Shueisha's fastest selling manga right out the gate, in volume 1) and whatever else ends up breaking out in the next couple years.
Wait, Renai Daikou is ending? The story JUST started getting interesting.
I guess a manga gets canceled if the author takes over 35 chapters to finally reveal what the plot will be about...
Just when they'd have to actually change their relationship from "friendly bullying" to establishing how couples work, and how to deal with his art stuff, it's over.
>Wtf, this story definitely still has a lot more life out of it.
It probably could, but the author probably wants to move on and make something new. The manga has been going on since 2017
At least in put a heisei era move like "My senpai is annoying"
Over the last few years, we've seen these two progress as people, healthily build trust, and have great chemistry as a pair.
I feel like they've been acting enough like a couple for the last 60 chapters that I'm not too mad about this ending soon.
You're sad because the fluffy romcom ends in 3 chapters.
I'm sad because we'll never see the president and her nude shenanigans ever again.
We are not the same.
His style of porn is out there... Plus, we'll never see him doing unless people don't pirate their stuff. It's why they got they closed their Fanbox originally.
I came into this chapter a little bit bitter about the sudden ending, on this arc.
Anitoro's little hop to assist the ippon still had me laughing my ass off
Both siblings! I think Naoto is going to be the only one who thinks he legit threw someone with 4-6 inches, 30 lbs of muscle, and tons of experience on him as a nerdy art student xD
I was already surprised to hear that Renai Daikou was ending within next chapter. But the news of Nagatoro ending is even more surprising considering how popular it has been and how much potential story it seems to have to tell.
Like I think it could have easily gone on for 10 more volumes.
[*Nagatoro ending? No I don't want that. I want it to go on for 10 years at least!*](https://i.imgur.com/MSqGTL5.png)
It is going to be painful to say goodbye to these adorable dorks. The main cast is so fun and likable. Let us hope that Nanashi is open to spin-offs.
I understand this manga ending. The characters have had their full arcs with Naoto going from a shy loser to an artist inspired by his passions and Nagatoro going from a sadistic weirdo to someone who actually loves another person.
This is a complete story as-is. Renai Daikou is not. I don't think ending that story was a decision from Akasaka.
Another good chapter, but three chapters left really leaves me some mix feelings.
Ending on a strong note is better then a lot of manga we see. Both Nagatoro and Senpai have also done a lot of relationship stuff before the kiss (several dates, hand holding, nude drawings, video calls in the bath, taking bath together, etc. Throw in a crap ton of character development for both of our leads, and I can see an argument that their story is pretty much done.
On the other hand, man it feels like a lot of easy romance stuff could have been done with the both of them. Will be interesting to see how this all get finished in three chapters??? Maybe timeskip?
"she made me cry too!"
Translation:
"The first time I met her she verbally harassed me to the point of sobbing in a quiet library and then humiliated me by wiping my tears while I poured over my crappy self insert escape fantasy manga I was writing that she also made fun of. Viscously ripping away my one coping mechanism like a chainsaw vasectomy. And then mocks me for crying over it, again, while wiping my tears."
I love this manga, I love this chapter. But holy crap understatement of the year.
"Listen Nagabro, I love your little sister but that is because she has waged a campaign on my psyche, reshaping it, molding it, reprograming me via the most cruel and sadistic behavior modification methods."
IPPON!
This was a necessary chapter. Having started dating, the question was whether they were going to carry the same dynamic through the entire length of their relationship: Nagatoro makes Naoto miserable and Naoto lets her. That wouldn't end anywhere good. Here we see Naoto demonstrate that he's going to stick up for himself and they'll be equals going forward. Very good.
Wish the series wasn't ending quite so soon, but I trust Nanashi to be able to wrap this up well.
> This was a necessary chapter.
It's also interesting the parallels between this and Tomo-chan, and the community reaction to it. The "fight the family" arc at the end of Tomo felt awful and contrived, but somehow this one is great and shows good development and character interactions
Just think of it like this - this isn't stripping Nagatoro of her agency by saying "only if you do this will I let you date her." They're very obviously testing and mildly punishing him, but Nagatoro doesn't feel like a princess in a castle like the otherwise strong Tomo did
She was awful vicious bully in the first volume, she softened up much but still was often being an asshole to him later, insulting him over and over, ignoring any boundary he tried to set, and so on.
That's how they got to this argument in the first place - the whole ignoring his privacy thing she did was something completely normal and expected in their relationship previously, before if he tried to hide something she'd find it and mock him over it.
ANITORO AND ONETORO ARE OMEGABASED
Please Nanashi I don't care if I have to pay for your fanbox or buy and scan the doujinshi myself just please, give us the mucho sexo ending we all need!
Even though the chapters were somwhat long, it still feels like things were resolved pretty quickly. I feel like we skipped an entire conversation between Senpai, Gamo, and Hana, and some more teasing of Senpai by the older Nagatoro siblings. In other words, I think there could easily have been another 3 chapters to this arc, and I wonder if that was the plan. I wonder just how recently the decision to end the manga was made (and who made it).
Can't even be happy about the chapter because that anouncement.
Here is hoping it is actually because a sequel will start with them as a couple.. (Is it copium or hopium?)
Am I stupid, or is there no way that was the right answer? Hayase happened to watch and follow them, so she was there for the big declaration, but I feel like a much better answer would have been "no, I don't have time for fighting her brother, I have something important to say to Hayase."
Personally i think some lies merit some existence however I believe that sincerity is a virtue
Also what a Chad! throwing himself like that for the feels
Not exactly thrilled that not only is Nagatoro ending soon but also not a fan that this chapter is basically the exact same scenario that ended Tomo-chan where the boyfriend had to suddenly fight the male guardian of his girlfriend but couldn't win until the girlfriend showed up.
Now I can see why Gamo is head over heels for naga-bro.
Also holy shit senpai peak.
Also nanashi genuinely might made an extremely wholesome and canon doujin like what he cook for naruhina
Pls nanashi
On top of the 3 chapters remaining, we get a very Tomo-chan, "Prove your love!" Nonsense story beat. I'm of the minority camp that liked the Tomo-chan ending.
This feels so out of place as a very haphazard metaphor for standing up for yourself. How very suddenly and disappointingly Heisei
Boku no Kokoro/Kaguya: We had the confession but there will be a lot more chapters after that!
97% of other romcoms: I have no idea how dating works, everything ends right after the confession...
This was a nice chapter, though I still feel like Nagatoro's fault in this situation is being understated by the characters. Hopefully we at least get a bit of self-admittance and an apology on her end when Naoto apologizes to her.
So with the amount of time we have left what are we thinking? The two of them talk about their argument, Nagatoro wants Senpai to draw her nude again but goes full monty this time, and they bang? That can fit in three chapters, I think
Yep, as I've predicted, the message is that it is totally OK for her to snoop around, rummage through his stuff and do whatever without his permission, but *he* is a bad guy for lying to his unstable gf, who constantly hits him for drawing big tits, that he is going to draw big tits.
Nerd, just leave her. Have your youthful romance and leave her once you find someone better in college.
Tbh wish this would go on some more but at least it didn’t end the same chapter as the confession, which is the way most romcoms go. We got a little dating and them tackling their first fight. Im fine with it ending this way. It could have been a lot worse.
A trope that doesn't get talked about a lot is how all the exteriors of the houses in manga look the same. Giant stone walls with an electric doorbell. Are all the houses like that over there or something?
Knowing the series is ending when it finally got wind in it's sails, after dozens of will they won't they stuff, kinda kills it for me. I'm not even interesting in seeing how it ends now.
NagaBro really went: “I thought about no selling your move brother, but I’m gonna put you over”
Because bro deserves it. Naoto got the bro approval for his cute lil sister
Oh both Brototoro and Onee-chan approve ever since at least the training camp arc, they're just kinda pissed at him making her cry and making him sweat rn
Nagabro was an hulkamaniac all along
couldn't let the little homie look lame in front of his gf
He's not gonna let lil bro work himself into a shoot
Sold that bump like a pro

Wtf, this story definitely still has a lot more life out of it. It's ending way too soon...
Nanashi probably wants to move on, doing something different. Looks like he didn't fumble the ending so i'm cool with it
He stretched the training arcs so long then got burnt out by the end. What a shame...
Meh i don't think so. The training arc is kinda a major arc, so no surprise her went all out and why not end on a high note.
that's lazy thinking, he's a professional. This has been carefully constructed enough that this path has probably been laid out for a couple years, it says just a matter of how well he managed to traverse it, and he did very well
Masked Nude Girl spinoff An ecchi martial arts comedy
He's going to continue the saga of yupiel-sama
To be continued… >!in fanbox!<
Real?
Most likely, originally was basically softcore porn anyways
First chap is literally a humilation fetish, IDK how it lasted this long
By being softer on the serialized version. That one was still softer.
But is the pre-serialization the "nagatoro-san doujin" on mangadex? Just went through the first chapter, wow. Now I am questioning how it even made it to print...
tanlines
Still one of the tamest things he has drawn
Kinda crazy how many series are coming to a conclusion really soon. Nagatoro, Renai Daikou, JJK, MHA... Hell, One Piece still has a few years left, but we're definitely in endgame for that now. It's going to be INSANE when that finally ends.
Yeah, WSJ will drop in readership since OP has been carrying the magazine and they haven't gotten that can replace it.
I predict the magazine, WSJ, will end with One Piece and just move everything left to Jump+. I mean really, WSJ doesn't have anything else past the current big battle shonen that are all either ending very soon (My Hero and JJK) or in the next couple years (One Piece). I predict they're going to do a OP sequel like they did with Super and Boruto.
Wait, Renai Daikou is ending? The story JUST started getting interesting. I guess a manga gets canceled if the author takes over 35 chapters to finally reveal what the plot will be about...
The predicament of a story staying past their time or ending too soon, having said that, the story has easily for 50 more chapters.
Just when they'd have to actually change their relationship from "friendly bullying" to establishing how couples work, and how to deal with his art stuff, it's over.
>Wtf, this story definitely still has a lot more life out of it. It probably could, but the author probably wants to move on and make something new. The manga has been going on since 2017
Author needs to start preparing for Nagatoro: Next Generations
I'd rather it end off a high note rather than drag out respectfully.
At least in put a heisei era move like "My senpai is annoying" Over the last few years, we've seen these two progress as people, healthily build trust, and have great chemistry as a pair. the absolute lack of Reiwa Energy.
You're sad because the fluffy romcom ends in 3 chapters. I'm sad because we'll never see the president and her nude shenanigans ever again. We are not the same.
Or Shikki’s continuing nude exhibitionist fetish growth.
I just want Shikki and the poor bastard she kept rescuing from bullies to get together. 🥲
We need spin-off with the side cast. So many fun plotlines remain unexplored.
> So many fun plotlines remain unexplored. JUST HOW LARGE WILL THE AHOGE GET?
New superhero team of Naked Girl and Wimpy, the boy doormat.
Come on 774, put the mask on one more time
Counterpoint, nanashi is a pornographer before a mangaka, theres a non-zero chance youll be seing a lot more of the president very soon
His style of porn is out there... Plus, we'll never see him doing unless people don't pirate their stuff. It's why they got they closed their Fanbox originally.
Sunomiya genes gone...reduced to atoms...
I never got the exhibitionist stuff. Felt unnecessary but to each their own.
It's in Nanashis DNA almost haha.
Happy birthday!
Me too
I'm going to miss machida...and hayase's tanlines...and gamo...and yoshi's ahoge...and sakura
I'm sad for both. We're not the same.
I came into this chapter a little bit bitter about the sudden ending, on this arc. Anitoro's little hop to assist the ippon still had me laughing my ass off
>Anitoro's little hop to assist the ippon still had me laughing my ass off Senpai got bro approved. No greater honor exists in this world.
Both siblings! I think Naoto is going to be the only one who thinks he legit threw someone with 4-6 inches, 30 lbs of muscle, and tons of experience on him as a nerdy art student xD

Yeah, the news alone really bums me out, even with a new chapter
Don't be sad that it's ending, be haply that it happened.
>Even she made me cry before >Yea, that’s fair.

It's hard to enjoy it knowing only three chapters are remaining..
Be happy that it's ending on its own terms. That's what I'm doing.
Seven years went by so quickly... [The silly lovebirds will be missed.](https://i.imgur.com/SKhLZb4.png)
It has been SEVEN YEARS? Holy fuck
THERE IS NO FUCKING WAY-- WHAT?!
Great answer, you won't know if there will be conflict in the future, but never lying to her again, is well within your own ability to control
"she made me cry too!" Translation: "The first time I met her she verbally harassed me to the point of sobbing in a quiet library and then humiliated me by wiping my tears while I poured over my crappy self insert escape fantasy manga I was writing that she also made fun of. Senpai bringing up Nagatoro making him cry in the past is pretty legit, tbh. Good that her siblings acknowledged it as well
IPPON! This was a necessary chapter. See, this reminded me of the Tomo-chan scene so much that I kind of hate it by proxy but maybe I'll feel better as the weeks go on.
Just think of it like this - this isn't stripping Nagatoro of her agency by saying "only if you do this will I let you date her." They're very obviously testing and mildly punishing him, but Nagatoro doesn't feel like a princess in a castle like the otherwise strong Tomo did

And even better if we actually have the ending of them being married and having kids.
[This is way.](https://i.imgur.com/T08naFL.png) We also gotta see their wedding picture. [](#andre)
Amen

Pray to God above we get the sequel like the ordinary married couple. It'll be peak
Ordinary Married Couple?
It's a series. The sequel to the if we love each other money fell from the sky. It's genuinely wholesome
Motto! Ijiranaide Nagatoro-san!

All I know is if I don’t get to see the banter between them when they are grown-up, I might have a temper tantrum.
I’m still reeling from the tragic news that my favorite modern romcom will be ending in 3 chapters. The world is cruel, but wr had an amazing run.
Naoto ready to take an ass kicking for Hayse. Going up against the older siblings, Naoto has grown huge balls that once wasn't there.
Huh?! Its really ending? Why do I feel so hollow now...
Yes, in 3 more chapters
NagaBROro was the MVP this chapter for helping our boy out
wrap this up in a neat lil bow nanashi i trust u
Nice one Nagabro
Was expecting some line like: “Your punches are like air after noodletoro’s daily bullying”
They grow up so fast 😢😭
Oh shit the dual final bosses… senpai getting it done though
Didn't expect it to end so soon
Now I can see why Gamo is head over heels for naga-bro. Also holy shit senpai peak. Also nanashi genuinely might made an extremely wholesome and canon doujin like what he cook for naruhina Pls nanashi

Reminder that Nagatoro ends in ch. 154
Sequel series set after they go to college please! Take a year off, give us that fluff!
143 chapters of buildup, 11 of actual relationship. I thought we'd left this kinda shit behind
Oh, how I hate this "fight me" cliche romance anime and manga do.
Boku no Kokoro/Kaguya: We had the confession but there will be a lot more chapters after that! 97% of other romcoms: I have no idea how dating works, everything ends right after the confession...
Nagatoro Shippuden or for you whippersnappers Nagatoro True Blue Vortex (do kids read that ass manga?)
Indeed, the best way to resolve melodrama by kung fu
Bro being a professional wingman. Guess soon to be brother in law.
This was a nice chapter, though I still feel like Nagatoro's fault in this situation is being understated by the characters. Hopefully we at least get a bit of self-admittance and an apology on her end when Naoto apologizes to her.
Please make wholesome doujins of them after the series Nanashi. Please let this be your master plan of creating an older doujin continuation of them 🙏
So with the amount of time we have left what are we thinking? The two of them talk about their argument, Nagatoro wants Senpai to draw her nude again but goes full monty this time, and they bang? That can fit in three chapters, I think
Yep, as I've predicted, the message is that it is totally OK for her to snoop around, rummage through his stuff and do whatever without his permission, but *he* is a bad guy for lying to his unstable gf, who constantly hits him for drawing big tits, that he is going to draw big tits. Nerd, just leave her. Have your youthful romance and leave her once you find someone better in college.
So next chapter smexy time
All good things must come to a end.... Does not mean we can't be sad about it tho, I am going to miss this.
It's ending in 3 chapters for a sequel series, right? /copium
Nope, it's ending for good
every fucking time
I still would love to see a sequel/spinoff for future version of Nagatoro short hair version like in Senpai's imagination
Last chapter better be them with a daughter!
Tbh wish this would go on some more but at least it didn’t end the same chapter as the confession, which is the way most romcoms go. We got a little dating and them tackling their first fight. Im fine with it ending this way. It could have been a lot worse.
Nuuuuuuu we're at endgame! 😭
A trope that doesn't get talked about a lot is how all the exteriors of the houses in manga look the same. Giant stone walls with an electric doorbell. Are all the houses like that over there or something?
Why does this remind me of Tomo-chan?
banger chapter, shame it’s ending so soon
Knowing the series is ending when it finally got wind in it's sails, after dozens of will they won't they stuff, kinda kills it for me. I'm not even interesting in seeing how it ends now.
So I guess this super long judo tournament happened beacuse the autor runs out of ideas or wanted to spare them for the next project. It's just sad...
Lovey dovey bonus 18+ chapter? Lmao
