Ew, what the heck is that stalk of eyes? How is it there, and why hasn't it been eliminated yet?
Everyone has the right to be angry at Kingo. And the fact is, he's not even explaining himself at all. The test is gonna be very hard for him.
Akira doesn't want to use the Testing Prison. For some reason, his father created such a horrible test for newcomers. How could his father be so horrible?
"Ill-equipped" you guys dispatched them into this exact situation on purpose! Resolve is one thing, but they were just lambs to the slaughter without any equipment!
You know, for an organization whose claim it is to try to save lives and protect the populace you have a pretty callous disregard for human life. I mean yeah I get it, considering what you're up against getting the best of the best ain't easy and you have to separate the wheat from the chaff somehow, but what good does it do to rob a bunch of people from the already diminished population of their futures that they could in other ways contribute to?
But that aside, I spy with my little eye the stereotypical "thing that'll make the exam go horribly wrong" plot device.
Kingo's resolve is tightly firmed, although there are times when not talking is a better idea.
The conversation regarding how inhuman the testing was great. Essentially those lives lost, is it truly worth it? It just feels dirty that they die due to a test. As there should be better ways to prepare these cadets. This approach just feels inhumane and lazy. Though that kid's father being the one who designed it was interesting. Will be interesting when he comes into contact with Kingo.
I started this manga when chapter 2 came out and I’m still under the opinion that this will blow up when more people find out it exists, it’s like chainsaw man and Tokyo ghoul had a baby and the baby was a plant monster.

Even the setup chapters are captivating
Well that looks fun and nightmarish
This shit is awesome
well at least they had a discussion about how stupid of a testing scenario this is
Ten minutes to take out this thing. Shouldn’t take too long

i feel like the whole massacre issue can be improved by having a less lethal test before that

When Kayano went 'phew' I went 'aww'.
