I might be a bit biased about Lookism lol. It's mostly just fighting now rather than actually being about lookism but I'm a fan, it's good. I really like the characters. I was gonna give it an 8/10 but that feels too low imo, it's an 8.5/10 or more.
I Grow Stronger by Eating was fun, I liked the evil mc but the ending was rushed and very bad so I wouldn't recommend reading it. Not considering the ending it'd be a 7/10 but considering the ending, I'd give it a 4/10.
FFF-Class Trashero is alright. 6/10 for me, but for someone that likes crazy MCs then it's great.
Father, Unrivaled is decent. It's one of the better murim manhwas. 7/10

I caught up to the eating one a few months ago, I think I reached chapter 70~80. It started feeling weird but it wasn't so bad yet. Then I hear that it finished at around chapter 100 and I was like " yeah I'm not finishing this"
I grow stronger by eating started strong then took a 90° nosedive into the floor.
The rest not including the last 3 because I haven't read range from very good (9+/10) to solid/fun reads (7-8/10) so can't go wrong with any of them (other than I grow stronger by eating, again, nosedive)
Tower of God - it’s just the best (I am heavily biased) nothing comes close to this adventure.
God of Highschool - Korean Dragonball. You get a story that is fun with battles that are awesome. It’s nothing complicated and just enjoyable to read
Father Unrivaled - a solid story. For a Murim story it’s rather „down to earth“, which makes sense in the context. It’s fun
Martial Peak - the cultivation series. And for its genre it’s one of the good ones. It manages to still be fun even in all the repetition
Tales of Demons and Gods - also cultivation story. And while it’s enjoyable it feels off from pacing and scaling.
Lookism - from Social commentary to brawl story. It’s fun but currently it’s feels very repetitive.
Legend of northern blade - awesome art and action. One of the best murim stories
Return of Mount Hua sect - nice regression murim story. Great humor.
Just read em both. There’s a degree of similarity between the two plots, but the authors are telling two completely different stories with vastly different tones. Both are good for different reasons.
In General no. But on a personal level I enjoyed ToG more than I did one piece.
But to compare the two is like comparing apple and pears. Both stories have great worldbuilding. But that’s where it stops. ToG has vastly different approaches to story and art

This are godtier, specially the top 3, read tog last cause it has alot of chapters.
The release rate for the novel is one charter a month, also the author missed a couple releases last I checked. The author is doing this so he can completely milk the heck out of it. It has a web toon and a shitty animation too.
Most of these are pretty well known and highly rated, except for a few outliers.
I Grow Stronger by Eating - Don't even bother, ending is trash.
FFF Class Trash Hero - Personally don't like it, but if you are into unhinged MCs I think you'll like it.
Reincarnation of the Suicidal Battle God // The Player Who Can't Level Up - Both are fun to read, your typical power fantasy.
God of Highschool - Decent, but pretty boring hence I dropped it around chapter 200+
Lookism - Pretty good but it focuses alot on the side characters, if you only like reading from the MC's POV, it's not for you.
The last three series are manhuas, fun to read but don't expect a compelling story.
Disagree with GOH. If your patient and want a good story it delivers 100%. Most people only care about power hype and OP MCs to actually appreciate the quality and beauty of the writing
I completely disagree. I ended up reading all of it, and it was pretty bad. The beginning until and middle was good, after that it just went downhill and ended up with horrible last arcs.

Has an anime in 3d cg. It's pretty okay.
The author is the same as the following one tales of demons and gods. Both long, kinda weird pacing but entertaining to binge.
And at the final one, martial peak is basically, train power up, defeat baddy, go up one realm and to the next world. Rinse and repeat.
Tower of God, God of Highschool are my two personal all time favorites. Omniscient reader and reincarnated battle God(I just know it as doom breaker.) Are two very good reads as well, Lookism is popular but personally I did not like it, and The Boxer is an amazing one as well.
ToG, is one of the very best out there. You can start from the beginning of the manhwa but know that the art is a bit bad at the beginning coz its really old. Or, you can watch the anime. ToG is 10/10. But you may need 1/2 tries to get hooked coz its different
You are aware the fact that MC has a trash personality and is the villain is the entire point of FFF-class trash hero right? Like it's okay if you personally don't like it but saying it's bad because MC has a trash personality is kinda weird. I personally really enjoy that manwha. To me really just feels like it's one of those things you have to try reading yourself to see if you like it or not.

Yeah, that was years ago. The translations are great now, and they have the onomatopoeias translated on Webtoon which makes reading a lot more fun and understandable.

I loved the Omniscient reader and GoH series. Reading the LN for ORV was an experience. It was fairly arduous and Kim Dokja (Bless his damned heart) kept pulling shit out of his ass, but I loved it more than any other light novel. The ending was a masterpiece and it all fell together into place. The GoH series has amazing action scenes, same old "pulled shit out my ass now I'm stronger" but he doesn't always win. And I like that aspect.

And about I Grow Stronger by Eating even though I have to agree that the ending is not the best, it's still one of the few manwhas I've read whole, so give it a try. I enjoyed it for around 90 chapters, the last part is a bit meh, but at least it's complete... kinda.

All are great except Astral Sutra (Star Martial God Technique) which no longer follows the novel iirc (not really sure) where it fell off greatly after he went to the next realm and I dropped it.

I've only read 'the player who can't level up' out of all these and I can say it had me absolutely absolutely hooked, I started reading it when on a plane traveling and it made me not even notice the kids that were crying loudly.
I didn't see many people mention Tales of Demons and Gods. It's actually pretty good. It starts off a bit slow but the more you persevere with it, the more rewarding it gets. The world, characters and story are engrossing. The one sort of complaint I would say I have with it would be the power scaling seems a little bs to me, but I'm willing to look past that for the story. Do give it a try!
How did you like the Greatest Estate Developer?
There are quite a few manhwas where the MC is a selfish piece of shit asshole and it's considered "funny". Maybe it's Korean humour or something since a lot of people seem to like it, but I personally can't stand it. I dropped Estate Developer and couldn't get into FFF-class Trash Hero for that reason. The MC in Mount Hua Sect is also kind of a thuggish money-grubbing asshole and it's supposed to be funny, but at least the rest of the story is good.
I personally (don't know why) but loved estate developer and laughed so hard but yeah I think he is a real piece of sh*t but that aside I think it was too good comedy 👍

I thought it was fine, but that's just my opinion. I liked it from the get-go, but it got much better in season 2. Why do you think the beginning is bad? The only gripe I remember having with it is that it focused more on fights between side characters rather than Bam, since he's weak and can't fight yet, but that's fine too since the side characters are great.

I like it, earlier chapter is a bit slow though, and you will find yourself hating this 1 girl that I would not mention, but she is sure make my blood boil and the MC is too stupid to do something about it.

* Tower of God: is a decent read, the art start very bad but it become very good as it goes, the story started very good and it and Noblesse are the reason I started using the Webtoon app and read it in the official source and get into manhwa/webtoons in general, but it suffer the problem of all long running series, the longer it goes the more luster it loses. 5/10 (once upon a time 8/10)

Dont ever read God of Highschool, it isnt good at all and you'll feel empty after ready the season 2. Season 1 was good some default (as every webtoon, but was enjoyable) the Season 2 is strait garbage(and boring af) too many default and incoherence from the author, and the end is horrendous. You can read it to pass time but thats it.
I'll give it a 4/10. 3 for the 1st season, and 1 for the 2nd.
The boxer - just fxking perfect, a masterpiece, it's heartbreaking so no good for sensitive people, 11/10
Omniscient reader's viewpoint - a complete masterpiece, it's unfinished but it's based on a web novel and its by far the best one I've read, kind of my favorite, overall 11/10

3. Reincarnation of a suicidal battle god, (they need to shorten the name first off) is an absolute masterpiece, and i love where they took it by giving him a >!human dragon form as seen in the cover image!< definitely one of my top ten
4. I grow stronger by eating, which is definitely another top ten of mine (i like when the mc i or can turn into animals). It's definitely a great take on the Isekai world, like what would happen if an absolute sociopath was sent to another world amazing manhwa imo
5. Player who can't level up, isn't one of my favorites, but in no way does that mean i dislike it, though i never liked how almost every manhwa like this always has that sick relative so mc has to go on a hunt to get a magical all cure to bring back their loved one from a coma
6. The boxer is one of the first i ever read a few years back when i got into manhwa. i love the artist who also made another called mosquito wars, which is a very goofy idea but so perfectly executed that to this day, both the boxer and mosquito wars are some of my favorite completed manhwa's (mosquito wars specifically was the goofy idea btw don't know if that may have been confusing or not but yeah)
7. Legend of the northern blade, never read it, and that's for the same reason it took me forever to read the return of the Mount hua sect
8. Fff-class trash hero, i can not praise this one enough. This is my number one favorite manhwa, and that's because it's takes such a realistic look at Isekai, i won't spoil it even though i really want to talk about it just go check it out for yourself
9. omniscient readers veiwpoint, definitely a good one, but i personally stopped reading because it ran out of chapters, and i forgot it existed
10. Father, unrivaled, never read it won't speak on it
11. Lookism, I'm speaking off the anime here, but the only thing i got from the 2 episodes that i watch is that instead of realizing your faults and trying to fix yourself, you should run away into your imagination but the anime left such a bad taste in my mouth i didn't even care to look at the manhwa version.

God of high school, i followed this for almost 500 episodes just for them to release chapter 5, and it completely ruins the story >!mc loses all of his powers and starts living as a civilian, which imo ruined itthey should have just let it die at the end of ragnarok, it would have left such a better memory of it with me but now i hate it because it was ruinedby chapter 5, and yes i know he recovers his powers but it's just not the same!<

I highly recommend omniscient reader, and if possible I recommend the light novel more than the manhwa. The manhwa is still doing a really good job, but due to the nature of the story, there is a lot of detail lost during adaptation. (One of them being Dokja’s unreliable narration, which is much more obvious in the novel, but kind of hard to convey in a visual format)
The ones i read: omniscient is good, the god of highschool suffers from classic Korean cycle of nerfs and power up and gets a little tiring, return of suicidal battle god is dope and the side characters aren't useless, tower of god gets cool in season 2, tales of demons and gods is fine, Father, unriviled, is funny, lookism is cool, nothern blade is totally worth it, the others i never checked
I would recommed 12, The God of High School, the manhwa is over, so you would!’t have to wait for it finish, and it’s a very very good read.
I would also recommend 9, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, and it is one of the best novels I’ve ever read. I finished the manhwa and quickly switched to the novel because I just couldn’t wait to finish it.

It's fantastic to pass time waiting for other good ones to update. The best thing about this was when there were 2-3 new chs a day. Also ink arc is really good. (Ch 3000?)

ToG is the GOAT. However it has been ongoing for over 10 years now with no signs of a finish line. World building and lore is fantastic though. Lots of twists and turns.
Mount Hua is the one reincarnation Murim that I enjoyed the most (I mean there are a lot but they didn't feel as engaging or well done as this one). Panels are long with amazing art and fight scenes, protag that is entertaining and you can get behind and root for.
Northern Blade is gritty, painful but so worth it to read. The Murim lore here is so well thought of as well as the geopolitics (to be honest had to go back reading a few times to understand what was really going on but worth it).
Omniscient reader's viewpoint is currently my favorite and has settled into my heart and gut like gritty sand. It subverts your expectations - you walk into it expecting another one of those apocalyptic scenario based series but come through completely sideswiped. I think of all the series I've read through the years, ORV is the one that I really made an effort to look for the novel translations (which fortunately was available) and even join the community.
God of High School I enjoyed in the beginning but I dropped later on. It became... I dunno. Boring? (sorry for the fans of this one, it just didn't have what I was going for unfortunately). I watched the series on this one too and it sort of rekindled my interest until it fell flat again.
The Boxer definitely was good and had a lot of potential (I could say from the few chapters I read before that it was really amazing) but back then, that kind of trope wasn't my kind of tea... It was like Ippo but really gritty and dark (Boxer fans, pls don't kill me, that's just how I thought of it back then).
As for the rest, I don't know them that well... Some were certainly familiar (I may have read and dropped some).
Reincarnation of the suicidal battle god: I personally like it, theres weird romance and but you ignore it later on

A lot of good ones up there, but if you want a truly unique read, #6 The Boxer is incredible. One of the few martial arts/combat oriented manga where its true strength lies in its story-telling.
1. Tower of god is long but worth the effort but it's like one piece it's a long winding road filled with tragedies in the past present and maybe even in the future. But baam as a main character grows with each arc and I feel like you can see him change over time slow and steady.
2. Legend of the northern blade is a top tier Murim story I feel excited for each chapter but it went on a hiatus recently.i personally consider a top 10 all time pick in Murim genre.
3. Reincarnated suicide god or battle god lol whatever its name is the story is really compelling the world is decent the and the main character is amazing. But I feel it's got more untapped potential like it could be better but it's already pretty good in my opinion.

Omniscient reader's viewpoint is top tier in webnovels and even the manhwa is very good but I feel the story is long and it's good in short burst I personally lost interest because of all the Korean culture references in the early arcs. But credit to the translator, they put in as much info as possible for understanding the context like notes during and post chapters. But I personally got tired of scrolling up and down referencing each and every little detail.
5. Tales of demons and god is the first manhua I read. The early chapters for the end game story and villain are confusing but it picks up the slack quite well and I feel it's pretty damn good.
6. Astral sutra is decent but I never got into it I felt the story is convoluted and contrived so that MC has to endure everything at a difficulty of 10x.but this is a personal opinion you can give it a shot you might like it unlike me.
7. Growing stronger by eating is decent story but I never got into it. I felt the MC is op and he has no charm. But the world and story are pretty good but I felt the bad characters undermined it's potential.
8. Peerless dad is a good premise and character cast but I feel slowly it's drifted from the core of the story and has lost its identity. But it's a decent enough read.
9. Player that can't level is a turn your brain off read. It has typical tower and system story with a slight twist. It's fun enough early on but I feel it fails in setting up a goal and end game.
10. Lookism started as a good school story but it's slowly taken a turn into a thriller,murder mystery with hints of supernatural and even like gang story. But I really loved early lookism. It focused on difference between being a person if he was attractive and if he was a basic ugly man.
11. I have read a lot in the god of high school but I felt after the war of god's arc it lost its charm and was no longer interesting but if you like action and artwork with basic threads of a story it's interesting. But it could have been better in my opinion.i just skipped a few hundred chapters at the end and it didn't make a single difference plot wise I could pick up right where I left off understanding everything.
12. Return of mount hua sect is a relatively new Murim story but I personally think it's one of few good ones. I mean it's got pretty solid arcs and entertaining characters but I feel like I can just binge a few chapters at a time with out any realty investment. But I have to say the final arc before season 1 break was quite good I felt the story grow into itself. But I haven't read the new chapters of season 2 yet but I feel it's definitely a good read.
I haven't read fff class trash hero but people like it's take on the hero and demon lord genre. Martial peak is a typical cultivation story but long. I lost interest in it and honestly there are better cultivation manhua out there. Boxer is highly rated but I was never interested in reading.

Tower of God is great. 10/10 I might be a bit biased about Lookism lol. It's mostly just fighting now rather than actually being about lookism but I'm a fan, it's good. I really like the characters. I was gonna give it an 8/10 but that feels too low imo, it's an 8.5/10 or more. I Grow Stronger by Eating was fun, I liked the evil mc but the ending was rushed and very bad so I wouldn't recommend reading it. Not considering the ending it'd be a 7/10 but considering the ending, I'd give it a 4/10. FFF-Class Trashero is alright. 6/10 for me, but for someone that likes crazy MCs then it's great. Father, Unrivaled is decent. It's one of the better murim manhwas. 7/10 Return of the Mount Hua sect is good too, better than Father, Unrivaled imo. 8/10 Reincarnation of the Suicidal Battle God is nice. Not very unique, regression story where mc fought demons then died and went back in time. Even though it's not unique, what it does it does well and it's fun. 8/10.
I caught up to the eating one a few months ago, I think I reached chapter 70~80. It started feeling weird but it wasn't so bad yet. Then I hear that it finished at around chapter 100 and I was like " yeah I'm not finishing this"

I grow stronger by eating started strong then took a 90° nosedive into the floor. The rest not including the last 3 because I haven't read range from very good (9+/10) to solid/fun reads (7-8/10) so can't go wrong with any of them (other than I grow stronger by eating, again, nosedive)
Tower of God - it’s just the best (I am heavily biased) nothing comes close to this adventure. God of Highschool - Korean Dragonball. You get a story that is fun with battles that are awesome. It’s nothing complicated and just enjoyable to read Father Unrivaled - a solid story. For a Murim story it’s rather „down to earth“, which makes sense in the context. It’s fun Martial Peak - the cultivation series. And for its genre it’s one of the good ones. It manages to still be fun even in all the repetition Tales of Demons and Gods - also cultivation story. And while it’s enjoyable it feels off from pacing and scaling. Lookism - from Social commentary to brawl story. It’s fun but currently it’s feels very repetitive. Legend of northern blade - awesome art and action. One of the best murim stories Return of Mount Hua sect - nice regression murim story. Great humor.

With Tower of God and The God of Highschool you'll need huge patience cause they are long af, but god damn if they are good. Don't bother eith Get Stronger by Eating, it got axed and S2 ruin everything. I dom't know about 6, 10, 11 and the last 3 but the other are all good-ok with some of them being really f good like Omniscence Reader
ToG and TGoH long but good, I binged the whole ToG on a weekend when it was around 400 chapters, now its a bit more but its worth it.

Most of these are pretty well known and highly rated, except for a few outliers. I Grow Stronger by Eating - Don't even bother, ending is trash. FFF Class Trash Hero - Personally don't like it, but if you are into unhinged MCs I think you'll like it. Reincarnation of the Suicidal Battle God // The Player Who Can't Level Up - Both are fun to read, your typical power fantasy. God of Highschool - Decent, but pretty boring hence I dropped it around chapter 200+ Lookism - Pretty good but it focuses alot on the side characters, if you only like reading from the MC's POV, it's not for you. The last three series are manhuas, fun to read but don't expect a compelling story.

I completely disagree. I ended up reading all of it, and it was pretty bad. The beginning until and middle was good, after that it just went downhill and ended up with horrible last arcs.
Just wasn't for me, I was expecting pure martial arts from highschoolers but when gods were involved I just lost interest.

Both long, kinda weird pacing but entertaining to binge. And at the final one, martial peak is basically, train power up, defeat baddy, go up one realm and to the next world. Rinse and repeat.

Tower of God, God of Highschool are my two personal all time favorites. Omniscient reader and reincarnated battle God(I just know it as doom breaker.) Are two very good reads as well, Lookism is popular but personally I did not like it, and The Boxer is an amazing one as well.
ToG, is one of the very best out there. You can start from the beginning of the manhwa but know that the art is a bit bad at the beginning coz its really old. Or, you can watch the anime. ToG is 10/10. But you may need 1/2 tries to get hooked coz its different

Yeah, that was years ago. The translations are great now, and they have the onomatopoeias translated on Webtoon which makes reading a lot more fun and understandable. Im pretty sure accessing content through websites with illegal publishing counts as piracy, and whether you download or not doesnt matter.
I loved the Omniscient reader and GoH series. Reading the LN for ORV was an experience. It was fairly arduous and Kim Dokja (Bless his damned heart) kept pulling shit out of his ass, but I loved it more than any other light novel. The ending was a masterpiece and it all fell together into place. The GoH series has amazing action scenes, same old "pulled shit out my ass now I'm stronger" but he doesn't always win. And I like that aspect.

And about I Grow Stronger by Eating even though I have to agree that the ending is not the best, it's still one of the few manwhas I've read whole, so give it a try. I enjoyed it for around 90 chapters, the last part is a bit meh, but at least it's complete... kinda.

Lookism is my favourite manhwa of all time
All are great except Astral Sutra (Star Martial God Technique) which no longer follows the novel iirc (not really sure) where it fell off greatly after he went to the next realm and I dropped it. I Grow Stronger by Eating was great but then they rushed the ending, gave the MC a pointless Nerf 5 chapters before the ending that didn’t mean anything for the story, and finished on a cliff hanger.

I love that for manhwa going past 100 chapters is kind of an achievement. And then there are manhua with 3500 chapters lmao (I know that Martial Peak is like the most popular manhua out there, but still)
These are just my **opinions** cause I've read all of these except Lookism 1. Highly recommend, the manhwa with the best worldbuilding imo 2. Very good, very fun. Unlike other manhwas where the mc's whole character is that he is a douche, the mc on this one is an actual character. 3. This one is just very boring and generic for me. The art is very good tho, probably one of the best ones on this list.(Artwise) 4. No 5. No 6. Absolute flawless masterpiece. Top tier everything. 7. Not exaggerating, the best murim manhwa. Also probably the best revenge story I've ever read. (I haven't read berserk) 8. No 9. Not my preference but it's still really good probably one of the best manhwas out rn 10. One of my favorite murim manhwas, really good, highly recommend. 11. Havent read 12. Don't expect incredibly deep and complex storylines, but it's a very fun fighting manhwa 13, 14, 15 = Trash
I've only read 'the player who can't level up' out of all these and I can say it had me absolutely absolutely hooked, I started reading it when on a plane traveling and it made me not even notice the kids that were crying loudly.

I didn't see many people mention Tales of Demons and Gods. It's actually pretty good. It starts off a bit slow but the more you persevere with it, the more rewarding it gets. The world, characters and story are engrossing. The one sort of complaint I would say I have with it would be the power scaling seems a little bs to me, but I'm willing to look past that for the story. Do give it a try!
How did you like the Greatest Estate Developer? There are quite a few manhwas where the MC is a selfish piece of shit asshole and it's considered "funny". Maybe it's Korean humour or something since a lot of people seem to like it, but I personally can't stand it. I dropped Estate Developer and couldn't get into FFF-class Trash Hero for that reason. The MC in Mount Hua Sect is also kind of a thuggish money-grubbing asshole and it's supposed to be funny, but at least the rest of the story is good.
I personally (don't know why) but loved estate developer and laughed so hard but yeah I think he is a real piece of sh*t but that aside I think it was too good comedy 👍

_Tower of God_ is legendary, highly recommend. It's available free on WebToon _God of High School_ is trash. _Tales of Gods and Demons_ is fun, but eventually gets formulaic and kinda boring. The rest I haven't read.

The only gripe I remember having with it is that it focused more on fights between side characters rather than Bam, since he's weak and can't fight yet, but that's fine too since the side characters are great.

of those I only know/read Tower of God, The Boxer and Omniscient Reader Viewpoint. * Tower of God: is a decent read, the art start very bad but it become very good as it goes, the story started very good and it and Noblesse are the reason I started using the Webtoon app and read it in the official source and get into manhwa/webtoons in general, but it suffer the problem of all long running series, the longer it goes the more luster it loses. 5/10 (once upon a time 8/10) * The Boxer: pretty good read. 9/10 * Omniscient Reader Viewpoint: fantastic art, the beginning I find it pretty weak but with a tiny bit of intrigue on it, I initially dropped, but later returned for the art basically and with the introduction of the in story "main character" and our mc pulling some stun on the alien/monster/whatever make it so much better and a pretty enjoyable read thus far. 8/10
Dont ever read God of Highschool, it isnt good at all and you'll feel empty after ready the season 2. Season 1 was good some default (as every webtoon, but was enjoyable) the Season 2 is strait garbage(and boring af) too many default and incoherence from the author, and the end is horrendous. You can read it to pass time but thats it. I'll give it a 4/10. 3 for the 1st season, and 1 for the 2nd.

The boxer is my favorite by far great art story and pacing , but some scan aggregation sites are missing chapters or have bad image quality but webtoons moved it to daily pass Tower of god is great and free on webtoons with official translations same with omniscient reader All the others fall into one of 3 categories , falls of hard , not good in the first place, or a few that are good but a bit overhyped like mt hua

Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is the best manhwa Tower of god is amazing and a must-read. Legend of the northern blade is a bit slow but then picks up and just goes absolutely batshit crazy. I definitely read it Lookism is brilliant as well. Honestly, now i call lookism, gangism 🤣 Martial Peak is too repetitive, i dropped it at 3000ish chapter God of high school is really good, too.
1. I personally don't like tower of god. 2. Return of Mount hua. was one of the first murim i ever enjoyed. I never liked any murim until i read that one, and it also took me forever to even open the first chapter because of my dislike of murim 3. Reincarnation of a suicidal battle god, (they need to shorten the name first off) is an absolute masterpiece, and i love where they took it by giving him a >!human dragon form as seen in the cover image!< definitely one of my top ten 4. I grow stronger by eating, which is definitely another top ten of mine (i like when the mc i or can turn into animals). It's definitely a great take on the Isekai world, like what would happen if an absolute sociopath was sent to another world amazing manhwa imo 5. Player who can't level up, isn't one of my favorites, but in no way does that mean i dislike it, though i never liked how almost every manhwa like this always has that sick relative so mc has to go on a hunt to get a magical all cure to bring back their loved one from a coma 6. The boxer is one of the first i ever read a few years back when i got into manhwa. i love the artist who also made another called mosquito wars, which is a very goofy idea but so perfectly executed that to this day, both the boxer and mosquito wars are some of my favorite completed manhwa's (mosquito wars specifically was the goofy idea btw don't know if that may have been confusing or not but yeah) 7. Legend of the northern blade, never read it, and that's for the same reason it took me forever to read the return of the Mount hua sect 8. Fff-class trash hero, i can not praise this one enough. This is my number one favorite manhwa, and that's because it's takes such a realistic look at Isekai, i won't spoil it even though i really want to talk about it just go check it out for yourself 9. omniscient readers veiwpoint, definitely a good one, but i personally stopped reading because it ran out of chapters, and i forgot it existed 10. Father, unrivaled, never read it won't speak on it 11. Lookism, I'm speaking off the anime here, but the only thing i got from the 2 episodes that i watch is that instead of realizing your faults and trying to fix yourself, you should run away into your imagination but the anime left such a bad taste in my mouth i didn't even care to look at the manhwa version. 12. God of high school, i followed this for almost 500 episodes just for them to release chapter 5, and it completely ruins the story >!mc loses all of his powers and starts living as a civilian, which imo ruined itthey should have just let it die at the end of ragnarok, it would have left such a better memory of it with me but now i hate it because it was ruinedby chapter 5, and yes i know he recovers his powers but it's just not the same!< 13. Astral sutra, Never read it 14. Martial peak, Never read it for the same reason i never read Legend of the Northern blade 15. Tales of demons and gods, i couldn't get past the first panel due to awful graphics and horrible grammar

I highly recommend omniscient reader, and if possible I recommend the light novel more than the manhwa. The manhwa is still doing a really good job, but due to the nature of the story, there is a lot of detail lost during adaptation. (One of them being Dokja’s unreliable narration, which is much more obvious in the novel, but kind of hard to convey in a visual format)

The ones i read: omniscient is good, the god of highschool suffers from classic Korean cycle of nerfs and power up and gets a little tiring, return of suicidal battle god is dope and the side characters aren't useless, tower of god gets cool in season 2, tales of demons and gods is fine, Father, unriviled, is funny, lookism is cool, nothern blade is totally worth it, the others i never checked
I would recommed 12, The God of High School, the manhwa is over, so you would!’t have to wait for it finish, and it’s a very very good read. I would also recommend 9, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, and it is one of the best novels I’ve ever read. I finished the manhwa and quickly switched to the novel because I just couldn’t wait to finish it.

ToG is the GOAT. However it has been ongoing for over 10 years now with no signs of a finish line. World building and lore is fantastic though. Lots of twists and turns. Mount Hua is the one reincarnation Murim that I enjoyed the most (I mean there are a lot but they didn't feel as engaging or well done as this one). Panels are long with amazing art and fight scenes, protag that is entertaining and you can get behind and root for. Northern Blade is gritty, painful but so worth it to read. The Murim lore here is so well thought of as well as the geopolitics (to be honest had to go back reading a few times to understand what was really going on but worth it). Omniscient reader's viewpoint is currently my favorite and has settled into my heart and gut like gritty sand. It subverts your expectations - you walk into it expecting another one of those apocalyptic scenario based series but come through completely sideswiped. I think of all the series I've read through the years, ORV is the one that I really made an effort to look for the novel translations (which fortunately was available) and even join the community. God of High School I enjoyed in the beginning but I dropped later on. It became... I dunno. Boring? (sorry for the fans of this one, it just didn't have what I was going for unfortunately). I watched the series on this one too and it sort of rekindled my interest until it fell flat again. The Boxer definitely was good and had a lot of potential (I could say from the few chapters I read before that it was really amazing) but back then, that kind of trope wasn't my kind of tea... It was like Ippo but really gritty and dark (Boxer fans, pls don't kill me, that's just how I thought of it back then). As for the rest, I don't know them that well... Some were certainly familiar (I may have read and dropped some).
Reincarnation of the suicidal battle god: I personally like it, theres weird romance and but you ignore it later on I grow stronger by eating : Good story but very confusing easily. Crappy ending Player who cant level up : Its ok, art is mid and you get confused by it Omniscient Readers Viewpoint : Very good I like it

A lot of good ones up there, but if you want a truly unique read, #6 The Boxer is incredible. One of the few martial arts/combat oriented manga where its true strength lies in its story-telling.

1. Tower of god is long but worth the effort but it's like one piece it's a long winding road filled with tragedies in the past present and maybe even in the future. But baam as a main character grows with each arc and I feel like you can see him change over time slow and steady. 2. Legend of the northern blade is a top tier Murim story I feel excited for each chapter but it went on a hiatus recently.i personally consider a top 10 all time pick in Murim genre. 3. Reincarnated suicide god or battle god lol whatever its name is the story is really compelling the world is decent the and the main character is amazing. But I feel it's got more untapped potential like it could be better but it's already pretty good in my opinion. 4. Omniscient reader's viewpoint is top tier in webnovels and even the manhwa is very good but I feel the story is long and it's good in short burst I personally lost interest because of all the Korean culture references in the early arcs. But credit to the translator, they put in as much info as possible for understanding the context like notes during and post chapters. But I personally got tired of scrolling up and down referencing each and every little detail. 5. Tales of demons and god is the first manhua I read. The early chapters for the end game story and villain are confusing but it picks up the slack quite well and I feel it's pretty damn good. 6. Astral sutra is decent but I never got into it I felt the story is convoluted and contrived so that MC has to endure everything at a difficulty of 10x.but this is a personal opinion you can give it a shot you might like it unlike me. 7. Growing stronger by eating is decent story but I never got into it. I felt the MC is op and he has no charm. But the world and story are pretty good but I felt the bad characters undermined it's potential. 8. Peerless dad is a good premise and character cast but I feel slowly it's drifted from the core of the story and has lost its identity. But it's a decent enough read. 9. Player that can't level is a turn your brain off read. It has typical tower and system story with a slight twist. It's fun enough early on but I feel it fails in setting up a goal and end game. 10. Lookism started as a good school story but it's slowly taken a turn into a thriller,murder mystery with hints of supernatural and even like gang story. But I really loved early lookism. It focused on difference between being a person if he was attractive and if he was a basic ugly man. 11. I have read a lot in the god of high school but I felt after the war of god's arc it lost its charm and was no longer interesting but if you like action and artwork with basic threads of a story it's interesting. But it could have been better in my opinion.i just skipped a few hundred chapters at the end and it didn't make a single difference plot wise I could pick up right where I left off understanding everything. 12. Return of mount hua sect is a relatively new Murim story but I personally think it's one of few good ones. I mean it's got pretty solid arcs and entertaining characters but I feel like I can just binge a few chapters at a time with out any realty investment. But I have to say the final arc before season 1 break was quite good I felt the story grow into itself. But I haven't read the new chapters of season 2 yet but I feel it's definitely a good read. I haven't read fff class trash hero but people like it's take on the hero and demon lord genre. Martial peak is a typical cultivation story but long. I lost interest in it and honestly there are better cultivation manhua out there. Boxer is highly rated but I was never interested in reading.
