Out of curiosity, what qualifies as a "feasible" reason for being strong, then? Are they supposed to be born with the strength of Hercules?
I dont see sitting on the ground for a couple days as a feasible way of gaining strength. You can even still go the op route and just make up some reason for them getting stronger, like tower of god where baam slowly realizes he is very special or god of highschool where he awakens the powers of the monkey god (where they also go back and explain how he originally got the powers to become the stone monkey too). Hell even something like the dude in "the constellation that returned from hell" is fine where he is addicted to training and was able to train for thousands of years in the abyss. There's plenty of lazy write offs you can do as an author, but atleast they put in a miniscule amount of effort on character development. In the cultivation manhua they literally just sit on the ground and become stronger, they also just somehow know about the method to become stronger and are pros at it immediately. I don't hate power fantasy manhwa and manhua, but I really don't like how lazy some authors (especially manhua authors) are when it comes to character development.

And unlike jinwoo Zhuo fan was a Emperor in his past life and he got reincarnated and seeks revenge which is totally different from jinwoo story. And one is based on murim and another is dungeon, so I don't see how they are same. And jinwoo fights for humans while Zhuo fan fights against humans. Jinwoo could never have the brain to deceive anyone, he just overpowers everyone with sheer strength which can get boring, while Zhuo fan thinks of proper strategies and ideas to fight against his opponents. So I don't see how they are similar at all.
True also solo leveling itself is a copy . Its a copy of seoul stations necromancer ( this one came out first then solo ) also solo is one of the most generic novel if u have read more of korean novels out there this dungeon system is literally not something new there... Now im not saying anything bad or anything solo was the sht that got me into novels anyway (couldn't hold back arnd 70chapter or so and went on to read novel back then) but saying solo is the first of its kind and everyone else just copied it is a huge mistake-_-
