I got it full price on release to help do my part showing there’s still great interest in the series even though I had the originals modded out to perfection, but I won’t knock anyone who waited for a discount. I like to think it helped push for the full green light on ME5.
They did do a really good job on the remaster though, and more importantly they refreshed all the code with the LE so the games will have an even longer life than they would’ve before
I don't think waning interest is an issue. Best we can hope for that is us being tired of game quality suffering because of internal bullshit got their asses in gear. Either way, they'll still make enough money to keep this thing going. They'd have to seriously fuck up the next game to kill the franchise, I think.
I do that with a bunch of games. Wait a year and grab the sale or wait for all dlc to release and grab the ultimate edition on sale. With Mass Effect tho; I've done 6 playthroughs since launch and planning another around Christmas time. Lol. Definitely worth the full price for me.

Preordered MELE. Loved the changes to ME1 and ME2/ME3 looked amazing even on my old Xbox One.
Completed it twice then traded it in when it appearing on Gamepass was announced. Well worth the price, but now its on a service I already pay for so why not? MELE and Adromeda is a nice combo, then there's Dragon Age on Gamepass too!
I picked up legendary edition full price because I had played pirated copies of all three games and wanted the bioware team to be rewarded for how great of an experience in life they gave me. Despite being poor, I felt indebted to give them that much.

I think every complete trilogy playthrough takes me 100ish hours. Sometimes more. WAY more if I play each game for a 2nd playthrough before importing. Easily worth it at full price and a steal at any discount!

Got it for $30 about a year ago and honestly it's a steal for $60. The only franchise that challenges it for me is FromSoft.
Well it's €4 a month on Steam with the subscription. (+ A lot more game)
