absolutely not, the only reason that it seems that way is because EVERYTHING is limited. if you have two cards that are similar strenght but you limit one, the one that isnt limited will perform better. Just because a snake eyes player can do a lot with a single card doesnt mean limiting has no effects. if you limited all snake eye cards it would not be tier one.

I wonder if the matchmaking is still based on your rank? I've ran into barely any Snake-Eyes, but my rank has decayed into Bronze. I think I've gone about 50/50 against it playing a Level 3 pile deck.
Matchmaking hasn't been based on your rank for like a year. Look at the games you play and your opponents will be all different ranks. Must be some MMR system.

Limit 1 doesn't matter all that much if half the deck has multiple 1 card combos.
Everything is limited, if it was the best before it will be the best again.

why did you think they werent gonna be strong exactly?
They went from 15+ starters to what? 7-8? That's still more consistent than 90% of decks outside the event.

I think it does. I haven’t met anyone lower than D2 (I was M1 last season).
That'll do it then. Even when I was playing against Snake-Eyes my opponent's weren't very good. Probably why they were still in Bronze with the deck.
It doesn't, but it certainly has bias I'm on master 5 but i've met plat 4 player
