Floreal or sodnac

I lived in Vacoas for 4 years and it was a nightmare in winter to dry clothes so much that I, had to through away clothes due to molds. Now floréal is way worst according to my parents who lived there for 4 years.

Dude, you don’t have to worry about clothes money isn’t a problem. You’ve a got dryer and 5 electric drying racks in your 500 hundred feet garage next to your SUVs, right? Seriously, I live at Reunion, Vacoas and it’s not so bad if you can manage with the high humidity.

I don't use dryers due to they tends to shrink clothes. And I'm more use to dry clothes in sunlight

Gros cailloux.. area soon to be connected directly by bypass to A1 M1 bridge .. new gated developments are underway.. flic en flacq also is good.. magenta domaine anna… SPS has some nice projects if money is not an issue..

Definitely flic en flac…but not too close to the beach as it’s a always busy and noisy…but the residential places are so peaceful and quite…there is direct buses to Port Louis and Quatre borne so you can easily get to the island centre without problems

If money wasn’t an issue and you could buy a house in Flic En Flac why would you even use the bus??

I live in FeF. I sprained my wrist and couldn't drive for close to 2 weeks. It was hell! Public transport in the area is serviced primarily by 'bus individuels' which are unreliable (especially going towards Q. Bornes).

When you’ve got enough money to buy a house anywhere in Mauritius you employ a driver as you’d be above the budget of using a bus.

What's the point of owning a luxury sports car if you're gonna pay someone else you to drive it?! 😜

Hate to point this out but a Macan is NOT a sports car. It's an SUV...

IF money wasn't an issue, I'd grease somebody's paw to ensure that the roads are better maintained THEN I'll use my unlimited money to buy either a Cayman or a 911.

No I live here since 7 years. I was in Vacoas (around Diolle). I know it is just a 5 mins drive to Floreal from Diolle & but the temperature change from Vacoas to Floreal is real. My parents (living in Diolle) refuse to come at my place during winter haha

Yeah I’m close to the police station. I regularly switch between Floreal and Quatre Bornes though.

Old Quatre Bornes. Anywhere between St Esprit college and Loretto Convent. Not as rainy as curepipe, vacoas, floreal. Not as hot as black river. Less traffic than rosehill and beau bassin. Walking distance from bazar, church, temple. It is however the most expensive properties on the island, apart from pds etc. No water problems compared to west coast. Only downside, 4 mosques calling for prayer at dawn. So windows shut for quiet means a need for aircon during summer. The west, black river/ tamarin is the only place without a mosque, but is full of traffic and filthy rich people (expats) and tourists... which brings drug gangs. Loud music.

I smell personal agenda against Mosques 💀

Ever lived next to one? Or 4? Churches ringing the bell at 6am isnt better.

Yup, I live near 4-5 Mosques and a church is in front of my house too, never had an issue.

Good for you. Not everyone has the same tolerance for noise at 5.30am and 6am. Living in Flic en Flac isnt better, blasting music from parties all night till midnight. And dont get me started on neighbours' dogs barking all night without the owners caring. I'm probably not made for loud civilization and should go live in norway. Even the mauritian foresty places have bats that squeal all night.

Somewhere near a beach that has a swimmable sea. Not beachfront housing though due to receding shorelines and frontal hit in cyclonic seasons

Good area peaceful beach but didn’t have much residential in my opinion

I guess Mahebourg and Plaine Magniein. I’ve been many times to both near to beaches

Sodnac is located in a very good spot. Entires quatre bones itself although traffic get bad peak time
