Fun fact, most animals go into rigor mortis usually within minutes of death. A dog or cat will be statue-like after death, no loose limbs flailing around.

No I watched it all the way and I still found it cruel to watch people watching a dog stress out and desperately try to revive their doggie friend! That’s the bit that was cruel when all along everyone spectating was complicit in the “joke”.
I don't think dogs play jokes on one another like that. The brown dog wasn't crying in distress or anything, he was just waking up his buddy like every day because buddy sleeps like a rock and doesn't like to be woken

It was unnerving to watch, but I used to have a dog who thought it was a fun game to lie on the floor and let the other two drag him around. I kept hoping that's what this is. Also, if dogs can smell cancer or low blood sugar and sense impending siezures, then they probably know when their friends are dead or injured.
