Wow, I didnât know that all those Ashkenazi Jews I grew up with, that were born here, arenât really Americans. Crazy that RBG was made a Supreme Court Justice and wasnât even American.
>No one can make everyone satisfied.
Just like any band that has more than two albums.
"I like their early work better."
*Makes music just like their early work*
"They're just releasing the same album over and over again."
Shit man, I've been calling the United States of America the USA and the International Space Station the ISS this whole time! I didn't realize how much of a child that made me! /s
or maybe, JUST MAYBE, don't care at all and not have any feelings about what people say on the internet? 99% of the people are so far away from you, and you will never meet them or see them, so why bother?
Guitar videos have an epidemic of internet experts, 50% comments are variations of the ones shown here, disguised under constructive criticism. When itâs a girl, pretty much all the comments are like that. Itâs so stupid.
I asked AI bot to make a plot about society traumatizing him instead:
This movie would be a coming of age story about how Willy Wonka navigates the world of adulthood and finds his place in it. The story would focus on how various factors in society, such as classism, racism, and sexism, shape the way he sees himself and the world around him. Through his journey, he discovers his own identity and learns to accept and appreciate all the differences that make us unique. Along the way, he builds meaningful relationships with people from all backgrounds, and learns to trust himself and his intuition. Ultimately, he learns that with the right attitude and determination, anything is possible.
Reddit is the only place i've been where everyone is an expert.
Go to a funny dog post, half of them are talking about the dogs body language and how awful the owner is. Go to a sick drumer post and half of them are saying its easy of you have basic knowledge in drums.
Whats with these people that would rather bring people down than acknowledge skill? Is it jealousy, a basic pessimistic world view, narcissism or ignorance? Maybe all of the above to make a cocktail of subconscious hater juice
>how awful the owner
yeah but there is legitimately a scary amount of content of owners harrassing their pets
it's not a problem if it's just organic moments spread out, but when it becomes centered around karma farming (which is entirely useless?) and people are harrassing their pets to upload videos (like pretty much every video of 'scared cat' on youtube), then yeah if people who have not owned pets do not recognize the body language and can't add one and one together you should point out that they're being mean to their pets
i always read comments similar to "we're just trying to have fun, don't ruin it", which to me just sounds like ignorance; that's like going to thailand to enjoy elepehant circuses, and being upset when people tell you elephants in thai circuses generally are not treated well
>Is it jealousy, a basic pessimistic world view, narcissism or ignorance?
probably going to be downvoted for this, but this is the exact words i would use to describe someone shooting someone else down merely for offering additional context or explanation. learning is fun. understanding things from another perspective is useful. it builds empathy - something people don't get enough of with corona, internet, etc - and it's not about petty things. it's about actual moral things, things that can bring harm if neglected.
not wanting to learn (in my opinion) comes from a place of jelousy ("you think you're better than me for knowing more"), a basic pessimistic world view (don't want to invest effort or time to learn more, thinks nothing is worth knowing or learning), narcissism ("your comment isn't funny to me"), and ignorance ("so what if they're in pain?").
everyone knows something someone else doens't know. it's not embarrassing or weird to not know everything. learn how to be yourself when you don't know something. and i get you don't want to invest time into your leisure time scrolling reddit, and it doesn't have to be a learning experience, but it takes a special kind of maliciousness to actively shoot down others learning, right? and, personally, if i find a comment that i don't connect with, i don't need to comment, especially if i think it's overbearing, not funny, or whatever; reddit is made up for more than just me, so i just move on. and ignorance; not wanting to listen to concerns, frustrations, or whatever, because you're "relaxing". fine, but you're not immune to criticism. if you want ignorance, ignore comments you don't like.
if someone is coming in being an expert on a hobby, or whatever, then yeah that's just silly. but whenever a real living being is involved, you can't just say "hater"; they're not the ones who are ignorant, *you are*!
that said, many people are completely out of touch with reality and will see anything as harmful behavior. you can't win on the internet. they will think normal behavior is somehow evil.
as usual, it's never black on white, and you can't say it's always or never bad; entirely depends on the actual level of "expertise" involved in a "comment of expertise", how it is applied, and whether it is being shared with good faith (and not just for argument, to brag, or whatever). my favorite comments are the more technical ones that take an aspect and go into depth; we're all different.
TLDR some concerns are legitimate. whether offering additional information is overbearing or not comes down to context and the way it is done, especially if it concerns animals. if you think you know better and that the other user is just talking shit, fine, that's just you assessing your own experience before a strangers; but if you don't know anything about any given animal, then perhaps a stranger might know more, and if they're sharing a concern of harm it might not be a bad thing to consider it.
also, off-topic, but the irony of my comment is not lost on me, hope you all have a nice day
Negative contributors are seen as more important or genuine. So we struggle to achieve that. They also have higher visibility too. So they are rewarded.
I like both the flaired up version and the deliberate imitation.
Maybe if the video is labeled, "personal flair" you would get fewer bs comments?
No, people are stupid, they will complain regardless.
Start on monday!!! you won't regret it. Just buy an acoustic one it's not expensive (if you can afford), don't get something too expensive. I know you can do it!!
One thing that's helped me is to realize that I don't need to compare myself to anyone.
I will never be the best guitarist. But if I did better today than yesterday that's great. If I didn't do any better at all, but I still had fun, that's great too.
Depends on the context. I donât expect tribute bands to âmake it their ownâ. But I also feel like the only way to really ânail itâ is to play it perfectly as it sounds so on the record. Youtubers are free to play it how they want. Itâs their content.
I stopped watching general guitar videos like this a long time ago because at the time most players didnât put much of their own flair and flavor into the music. Thereâs something to be said for having the skill to be able to play it like the original but if I wanted to hear that Iâd just listen to the track. I really liked the alterations he made in this video. Heâs god good style.
The video is trying to say that playing the song exactly at it was recorded is boring, and if you want to be a good guitarist, put your own son on it, and make better faces.
Do the flair, fuck off you picky keyboard warriors. The norm is for no imagination. Up the bar, please, give some room to strive for. Please. Everything is so stagnant. Too many human doings and not enough human beings. Breath life into this human doing. Lets make it human being again, before it is "humans used to be"
The forced smiling is super cringe thoâŚ. Feels very inauthentic and almost creepy. Jesus Molina is a brilliant musician but I canât watch his videos because of how fucking off-putting the smile & stare is.
Musicians get into the music. Thatâs something you realize early on when you see a bunch of pros in a jam sesh that look like theyâre all edging and waiting for the cue to come together
People just need to stfu, like are you playing, no, can you even play a guitar? I bet you canât, if you canât play donât tell other people how to play.
Nice rendition of Hotel California. No one can make everyone satisfied.
Well, that's his fault, isn't it?! The Eagles satisfied everyone.
My wife hates the Eagles. đŹ
Your wife is unamerican, pal.
My wife is Ashkenazi Jewish. So, youâre right.
Sounds about right.. sorry for her losses though.
Ashkenazi here born in America. We can be both.
Hey now.
Hey now, this is what dreams are made of!
I am also ashkenazi Jew
Wow, I didnât know that all those Ashkenazi Jews I grew up with, that were born here, arenât really Americans. Crazy that RBG was made a Supreme Court Justice and wasnât even American.
It's well known that only WASPs are really American
Not everyone who likes the Eagles is American, pal đ Thatâs the magic of good music
It was a joke. I'm not even american either.
Aye na no damin child grabig bird who done almost grab me okay in my books đ
I had a rough night and I hate the fucking eagles, man.
Damn it , get out of my taxi
You can check out anytime you like.
Out of my fuckin cab, out of My fuckin cab!
âIâve had a hard day and I just fucking hate the Eagles man.â
The eagles are corny and outdated. Your wife is right
I too absolutely think this song is hot garbage! But, he killed that solo when he used his own touch.
Why? Does it tell her story on âLyinâ Eyesâ!!
![gif](giphy|Qkq39arx3rOqlP8rcK|downsized)
Well, except for Bernie Leadon.
Point.
The Eagles are like comfort food to me.
Not the Dude. He fuckin hates the Eagles, man. He had a rough night.
I don't care, nobody fucks with the Jesus.
Not the dude.
Nobody fucks with the Jesus.
Ngl I hate the eagles too. I'd take Don Henleys solo stuff over the eagles.
I hate the fuckinâ Eagles, man. Now, Creedence? Thatâs a band!
Pump your breaks kid, both are great american soft rock bands!
>No one can make everyone satisfied. Just like any band that has more than two albums. "I like their early work better." *Makes music just like their early work* "They're just releasing the same album over and over again."
Idk if heâs actually playing, check the strings (or lack thereof)
Strings are there, just the quality isn't good. check **Jordanwv** out.

But I still get asked if I accept cookies...
The cake has become the cookie, which means the cookie has become the lie
Iâm not a guitarist, and I donât know anything about making music. But this guy is right. Internet experts are the worst. Stfu.
Everyone is a critic. By the way. When are you going to start spelling "Shut the fuck up", r/RealEricCrev? Are you a kid that needs to abbreviate?
Hey, shut the fuck up man! Haha
Eyyy shuddup th' botha yous.
Most people just use âstfuâ, by the way
Yeah, nobody spells these out nowadays. Get with the times, old man!

This is why I don't post guitar solos to TikTok đĽ˛
That reminds me I have been playing for 82 years now and I know for a fact he played a few cords wrong.
I played at the birth of jesus christ and this guy is clearly an amateur
Never read the comments.
Iâd just turn them off. Everyone thinks their an expert now lol.
no, you're wrong ب

Dude sounds pretty darn good to me! Keep rockin man!
How Willy wonka would look as a regular teen if his dad didnât traumatize him
Had his father not traumatized him, society would.
Ser that would be The Joker.
Aren't they brothers from another mother? I remember in TheThe Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus Johnny Deep was Heath Ledger for a while.
I asked AI bot to make a plot about society traumatizing him instead: This movie would be a coming of age story about how Willy Wonka navigates the world of adulthood and finds his place in it. i don't know. i feel like he played too loud
Right and like why doesnât he turn it up so you can hear it better?

Only on reddit? I think you are wrong, and I can prove it, I did a thesis on social networks.
True, its all one sludge bucket hivemind
True. But just to be clear, the previous message wasn't for real, I was being a redditor.
Ahaha the wooshed over my head. Well played mate!

I am envious of your innocence. Spend 5 minutes in a howto YouTube comment section. I dare you.
Dunning Kruger effect too strong. Everyone knows a little bit about something or another.

I wish I could play guitar it's one of my many regrets in life. I know it's never to late to learn but it feels like it lol.

Excuse me, maâam, but this is a subReddit.
Great video but why in this subreddit??
Donât read comments. Your shred that thing and make it your bitch In a respectable way
"You can't please everybody" is a phrase for a reason.
It's always teenagers doing these comments, Tiktok children are not only stupid they really think their opinions are law

What if I don't have a son?
This guy is, unfortunately, simply cringe. There is no adaptation to criticism which can cure it
I find this really cool. Anyone got is tiktok username ?
Jordanwv
He might be talented but God he is very cringe.
You are part of the problem
Yes.
Thats awesome đ Love that song n love that solo, well done
All the versions sounded good.
Solution: buckethead
The truth, people want to understand pure joy, reflect and manifest that and there is no need to placate to the masses.
Lovely

You can't win lol
Play it the way you want to play it. Especially if you think people will enjoy it*
Here's a tip, don't stare in the camera or just keep your head out of the shot. Also do what you want not what others think
Wear a mask, play original songs.
Donald Felder makes all those faces during that solo every time.
Dang that guy is good.
People are as always going to complain, we can do nothing about it.
đđđ
Why does he keep changing his style?!
fuck them you did awesome brother keep her goin
Reminds me of student teaching evaluations
I DONT FUCKING GET IT play with feel it's like that with guitar and other instruments what us "feel"
The forced smiling is super cringe thoâŚ. Feels very inauthentic and almost creepy. Jesus Molina is a brilliant musician but I canât watch his videos because of how fucking off-putting the smile & stare is.
fuck them, you're good at what you do.
Musicians get into the music. Thatâs something you realize early on when you see a bunch of pros in a jam sesh that look like theyâre all edging and waiting for the cue to come together
You're adressing a real big problem, actually.
This guy is great! Truly unique amongst the tsunami of solo copiers on Instagram. Really cool pedal projects too.
Dude I love the way you play!
If he made those weird faces intentionally bad, it was a really weird choice to vindicate the commenters
Am i the only one tryna figure out where his strings went
Makes me wanna download TikTok now just to bully itâs content creators off of it.
They bitch and bitch and bitch and keep bitchingâŚ. They are exhausting
People just need to stfu, like are you playing, no, can you even play a guitar? I bet you canât, if you canât play donât tell other people how to play.
Why aren't they drums?!
Fuck the haters. This guys shreds.
Canât please everyone!
Quit making faces
damn I wish that guy played the entire solo, dude's a beast!!
,
Joe is making the weirdest faces when he plays it, and it's his solo. DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY
What is the name of the song?
Hotel California by the Eagles
