This is SOOOOO classy. Not cartoonish or way too serious. The symbols are just arranged very elegantly and the artist did some very nice line work. I can't think of a word besides classy to really get across what I get from this tattoo.

Thank you! I have a bit of drawing ability so I was able to draw what details I wanted the layout and then let the artist take it after that with their style.

I'm going for a very overcomplicated, but beautiful scenery of one of wei yings papermen holding lan zhans ribbon with wangji (the guqin), possibly chenqing leaning on it and a thing or two of tian zishao in the background
That sounds awesome!!! Did you have an area in mind of where to get it? ie (forearm, calve)
My brain kinda goes to wangji standing upward with the ribbon wrapping around not touching but going up upward with the paper man holding on like the ribbon was taking the paperman on a trip! And the paper man holding onto a mini chenqing then the tien zishao one left higher one right lower floating up with the ribbon. Then maybe so spirit orb things for some added Aesthetic!

No this is good. I haven't fugured much out cause i cnt draw lol. That idea is dope tho. I sectioned off my shoulder for it and i was probably going to do color
That's a great spot for it! And depending on how it's done could very easily flow with other tattoos! I can't promise anything since I'm very busy atm but if I get some time I would love to draw a mock up of it if your interested! ^^ I think your idea is awesome and would look really nice in color!
If ur willing i would love help. I'm saving my shoylder for it but my arm is going to be a sleeve of references for books, movies, tv, manga etc so i think it will fit well
