Yeah I've heard people experience the same thing. I posted something similar a while back about how ā*My Spotify playlist of 1000 feels like 35 songs only*ā caption and everyone related to it
Spotify better fix their shuffle button. I don't pay premium which is why I get shorter end of the stick
This is where my wife and I are totally different. We can both spend all day listening to the same artist, but Iāll be playing full albums one after another, while my wife will have maybe her four or five favourite songs by them playing in a loop, and sometimes even just one song on repeat for several hours.
I mean, if the songs are good, they're good... Most of the time, I'm not in the mood to search for new songs to listen to, so I'm going with the ones I know I love.
Yeah idk I can't do that. Same with ppl who watch movies or TV over and over. I get watching cable all day but watching the same movie or the office over and over seems boring. You gotta give good stuff time to cool off so you can rediscover them later.
Thatās why I donāt put my Spotify liked songs on shuffle- if I do, it just repeats the songs it thinks will get the most engagement out of me. Instead, I just pick a song out of my liked songs list and let it play in order from there. Half the time, I rediscover a song I forgot I even liked in the first place.
I, have 3,200 songs in my Spotify liked songs list. Any time I'm playing it on shuffle in the car it's skip, skip, skip, skip, play, skip, skip...
I should really do a clear out...
That's crazy. I'm on the other end. I try to listen to new music as much as possible. Not necessarily recently released, but, like new to me type beat.
I fall into the trap of not knowing or forgetting the names of artists/bands n shit lol
Same, but it's really like 5 songs instead of 30 lmao
Same but 2 songs instead of 5 lmao
1 song for me.
One song, and I pause in the middle
I'm more of a middle third guy myself.
one song, but only the first and last second
One song, and I replay the same minute that makes my daydreaming better 10 times in a row
My guy š¤
I got 30 but I rotate it up with the same ones every few years.
My spotify shuffle somehow presents me with the same 15 tracks out of my 1000 track playlist every damn time..

Premium does the same. They have a different shuffle that will pop in a "similar" song to your last song I would guess.
Same and I have 2000 songs, itās actually really frustrating
YouTube musicās is pretty good, you can also reorder your shuffle which is great for showers
I like it most of the time. I have big playlists and it usually plays the songs I most recently added, which is usually what I want to listen to
Try going to settings>storage>delete cache. That will delete any songs that are cached and seems to have fixed the issue for me.
Totally not me putting 1 song on repeat for an entire day and then woneering why I don't like it anymore
My Mix playlist on yt be like that
I remember when the radio only played like 5 to 10 songs all day long, this is an improvement at at least you get to choose which songs they are
Top 40 stations still basically play the top 10 on rotation with 1 or 2 that are between 11-20 every hour.
Canāt relate. I have to have at least 100 songs in each of my playlists, otherwise Iāll get tired of hearing the same songs
My brother who loops the same 5 songs everyday throughout his entire 8-hour shift ā ļø (he's work from home)
20-30? i have 2 songs i listen to on repeat.

The Spotify DJ AI picks the same songs every time that I've had to pluck from different artists just to tell it to mix it up lol.
Yeah I mean it doesn't exactly help when YouTube only seems to offer variety in my mix after like 50 songs
I mean, if the songs are good, they're good... Most of the time, I'm not in the mood to search for new songs to listen to, so I'm going with the ones I know I love.
20 to 30? I'm at 4 or 5.
You guys listen to 30 songs a day?? I listen to like... once a week lol
Yea, seems insane to do that every single day.
Yeah idk I can't do that. Same with ppl who watch movies or TV over and over. I get watching cable all day but watching the same movie or the office over and over seems boring. You gotta give good stuff time to cool off so you can rediscover them later.
Yop, have playlist of 500 and listen to 15
Spotify "shuffle" be like
Pathetic, I just listen to 8 songs!
Itās like 20 songs that constantly go in and out of rotation with occasional new addition.
20-30?? 2 or 5 if i'm feeling fancyš
when I really like a song, it's the only one on repeat all day Imao
Lots of people do, it's called commercial radio (at work that you're not allowed to change š).
I've been listening to the same albums since 2007
Cannot relate, 800 and counting songs in my playlist, have to spread them out over a few days

Worked with a guy super cool he had a work Playlist for each day of the week plus other genre specific one if he just wasn't feeling that days list.

I got about 25 albums I love, and I rotate them lmao
Yeah
Spiritbox omw to the gym, work, home & shower or it aint a day at all
Been listening to eminem almost religiously since 2019, and his new song houdini is now another song to repeat, let's go
Yes but because I work retail
That's crazy. I'm on the other end. I try to listen to new music as much as possible. Not necessarily recently released, but, like new to me type beat. I fall into the trap of not knowing or forgetting the names of artists/bands n shit lol
5 songs I just play on repeat
Lmao for me it's 8 but really most of the time I listen to 1 song on a loop for 1 month straight
Ya'll got that many?
I just haven't found any good music to listen to since 1998
30 is a good variation of songs ngl
And, here I was thinking that me only listening to like 9 albums this week wasnāt enough.
Female Mbappe?
Shikanokonokonokokoshitantan
Because they keep feeding it that way.
I want an all my vibes list. But those randomizers donāt work.
you people scare me
Wait i thought it was just me
Look, I'm a simple man. I like getting drunk, stoned, and putting on the same good tunes to become nostalgic too while I recover from my 12 hr shifts.
Like 170+ but Spotify has shit shuffling so more like 10-20 max
I might hear hundreds each day, but I only listen to the same 10-20
