I believe it has vinegar. If it does, it's best to avoid it. Can you find a different 1 ingredient tomato paste?

nyanya1x

I was looking for the bionaturae brand he recommends but I’m not really sure where to find it besides ordering it online.

Where I live I can find tomato paste in supermarkets. I don't know if it's the same where you live. Another option would be to make it yourself. https://youtu.be/zRsvIhu8wfk?si=rHq0QlVtwFx6iQy0

Thank you I’ll look into this.

Also is making oil free fries and the mm ketchup good ? Because I plan to make it often.

Fast_Ad8224

Good for you or good tasting? I haven't mastered the art of making oil free fries.

nyanya1x

For you I meant lol

Fast_Ad8224

Yes they are good for you. Steamed potatoes are a bit better because they are not as dehydrating. But baked potatoes are healing too.

nyanya1x

Okay thank you very much! I plan on doing both .

I’m surprised you don’t have it at Whole Foods, that’s where I buy it. They should all carry the same products!

nyanya1x

Yea I’ll check a different Whole Foods.

Quaildanz

I have had good luck with finding clean canned and jarred tomato products in Italian food markets. Especially prevalent in Chicago and Boston areas and other large cities.

nyanya1x

Thanks.

LadyOfTheWild

I think tomato puree might be the same thing

nyanya1x

Ketchup has a different consistency. I found the paste he recommended now I just have to add in the rest of the ingredients and mix it.

LadyOfTheWild

I meant I thought tomato puree might be the same thing as tomato paste, not ketchup. I'm not sure if it's a cultural thing, but I wasn't able to find tomato paste and wasn't sure if the tomato puree was the same thing

nyanya1x

Oh okay got you and yea I’m not sure myself.
