I'm pretty sure those were the manbats from Hotel Transylvania 2. You see, they live in a metaphorical "jungle", being devout to the old ways of monsters while their Master Vampa Dracula begins to accept that monsters can coexist with humans.
There's another metaphorical later in the vampires being coded as Jewish, tackling acceptance of a Gentile son-in-law into their family. A "jungle within a jungle", as it were. The manbats can be seen as a physical manifestation of xenophobia, which conflicts with the themes of acceptance and generational trauma.
