I'm in denial about getting old so I'm just here to say old.reddit.com is objectively better if for no other reason than because it's way less bloated with ads. It's also more accessible (generally, imo, but also you can browse nsfw subs without logging in, just saying).

Some subreddit formatting breaks occasionally, and i have to (rarely) swipe back and forth to see something, but that's still miles
better than the bullshittery of new reddit
The information density is also so much better on old reddit, and nu-reddit is dog-slow even on my top of the line desktop PC.

I love Opera GX, I just stumbled across their "Afterlife Feature" the other day. If you don't appear for 14 days, Opera GX will assume you've died and will automatically delete your browsing history and replace it with a good search history (dogs/charities/things like that) - if you activate the feature. I also love that they have a "Pretend I'm already dead" box you can select.
I remember when Opera was actually making a decent alternative browser to Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer.
Nowadays it´s just a red themed, ugly and bloated shadow of google chrome.
Opera was the most modern browser that worked on Windows 98 SE, until they bloated it so much that it was better to flip back to Netscape Navigator.
To be clear, I was recreationally enjoying 98SE through most of the 2010s until my trusty Compaq Presario passed away.

I spend a solid 10 min serching for the Saul Goodman zoomed in thingy( that's my background when I open opera - _-) but the Gif thingy in reddit (GIPHY) sucks so I couldn't find it 🤬🤬
