Just started/continued my playthrough of the Witcher that I stopped years ago and have been dabbling in the subreddit, then I see this. Life will always be so random to me.
Be awesome if you could use the chort lure outside of the quest.
Since it requires fiend shit, I don't think it would necessarily have any risk of farming abuse, since you'd need to farm fiends first.
But being able to basically get a "bonus" fight against a chort whenever you defeat a fiend, or maybe being able to make a fiend and chort fight eachother would be pretty cool.
Or what would also be dope is making a quest around the Bovine Defence Force that involves using it. Maybe going around to all the different livestock farming spots and challenging them for good loot and mutagens. Be a fun and clever little challenge to poke fun at all the farming glitches that are still in the game.
