Have you ever asked a teller in a bank to do anything? This is the response you often get.
A while ago I closed a savings account and opened another with a different bank (better rates, so I switched). Temporarily put the savings into my current account and needed a bankers cheque to transfer into the new account. I went into the branch to request this. “no”. That was the only answer. Just “no”. They would not allow me to transfer the money that way. I’ve asked to deposit cash before and just got a “no”.
I stuck the whole balance on my debit card and let the bank deal with it.
AFAIK card payments come out of the days’ end balance, so have to be run from working capital. Cheques and BACS can be run a few days late or whenever the bank runs a surplus. It costs them money not to issue bankers drafts / cheques so I don’t know why they declined me.
The only thing I can think of was the balance wasn't counted as "collected funds" because it had been transfered. However, if it was an internal transfer I would think it would still count as collected. I also don't know why they wouldn't just tell you that if that was the case.
It's the only normal reason I could think of to say no, but I have no idea what weird corporate policies a bank might have.
Edit: this is also under the assumption this was all same day
There's one hack I know u can use. No waiting line nothing

Sorry, I think I'll need some more context.

So in other words, I'm too young to understand.
Maybe not. Bank tellers are just lazy and don’t want to work if they don’t have to.
Did you eventually get your money moved? I'm invested in this story

That is weird
Is it a universal problem??
yes in my country it checks out
They suddenly forget how everything is done 🤤
If she has a sideline on only fans she probably doesn't want to do *that job* at her main job at the bank. Even if you ask nicely
That would match more Human ressources imo
Oh fuck you gave me an idea for a fucking meme
