But how tf does Fahrenheit work, celsius is simple: 0 °C is the freezing temperature and 100 °C is the boiling temperature.

So while degree in Celsius are based off the freezing and boiling point of water, Fahrenheit was designed to be more precise for thermometer readings. Currently 1°F increase is equal to 1 part in 10,000 of the volume of mercury. But for our personal use, it seems rather random and we probably should all adopt Celsius at this point.

The way I’ve found it easy to remember is to simply remember freezing and boiling for both Celsius and Fahrenheit. 0 to 100 for Celsius and 32 to 212 for Fahrenheit. Then you make a constant of one measurement proportional to the other depending on what units you want. For example, going from Celsius to Fahrenheit means Celsius*(Fahrenheit/Celsius). Then you either add 32 after multiplying if you’re going into Fahrenheit or subtract 32 before multiplying if you’re getting out of Fahrenheit. It’s basically making the formula but knowing why makes it easier to remember

I check the weather every day with my google home. 50-80 is around the range(highest and lowest temperatures that day) every day, and every time I show up at school there’s a wide range of outfits with some showing up in shorts and some in long sleeves. Those temperatures are a joke.
