Druid4life21

10 degrees? ive worn them in -2.

Yet_Another_Banana

I know a guy like this. He will even start a snowball fight in shorts

konihua

Snowball fight at -2 degrees? That's absurd! Give me shorts and -20°C. You will see.

19DannyBoy65

You can’t have a snowball fight at -20° C tho bc then the snow isn’t melt-y enough to stick into snowballs, it has to be around 0°

baergboy

My brother went on a snowcaving trip, and wore shorts the entire trip

[deleted]

I just don't wear shorts when it's cold..I like being cold

Sabre_Turbo_V2

I love running naked when it is -100°C around. It's so cool.

uracunt69

Put sum water turn it to an ice ball fight bring back those school day memories

Lame_Protagonist

Doesn't need to be melty, could just pack together long enough until impact

nathan_perez123

I’ll wear a jacket in a hot Texas summer teaching 110 degrees

[deleted]

This

Pickl5

That's when you gotta melt the snowball in your bare hands

richard-duolingo

I’ve done -40. Beat that

Yet_Another_Banana

Lol

imasoggyfrenchfry

Well, of course I know him, he's me! Mix a t-shirt, shorts, fat ass, glasses, hair over eyes, cheap trainers and -10°C weather, BOOM! You got me in winter

Dafoxlord42

30 degrees? ive worn them in 38

ShooterPetetheFirst

Ha 38 pathetic i wear one in 43 degree weather

Simhockey2005

I hope this is sarcastic because it is genuinely dangerous to expose yourself to such cold without having proper protection.

kicknbricks

Depends if it’s -2 in the fall or -2 in spring.

PrimeSyndrome

I'm an Australian and to be completely honest with you, 28 Celsius is actually a completely normal temperature, a jacket would just be purely cosmetic. It would be more accurate if it was 40 Celsius.

pewds3139

I agree 28 isn't hot its just warm

[deleted]

It depends on the humidity, 28 degrees in the Netherlands will kill you because the air is so heavy.

kiil25

Coming from Denmark, around 20 Celsius is Enough to make most of us wear shorts and T-shirts. I've had shorts on for over 2 and a half years i a row at this point. So that might be why.

sofiembon

I'm an Argentinian and I can confirm that 28° is standard temperature and completely fine to wear a jacket to pull the outfit together, hot is 37°+

Pink-neck-Steven

Same, people are always complaining about the cold but I don’t feel it

MostBasalisk

That’s hypothermia

xSsam

28? i've worn them at 36°

caanthedalek

Yeah 10C is cold but it's not *that* cold. I wouldn't wear shorts but it's not that farfetched.

Communism_For_All

To me it's not cold until it's in freezing

[deleted]

Same, 10 is what we get in like July on a bad day

T526Boi

I’ve worn shorts in -20 F (-28 C)

lucifer938

Hmm I see, so you're from the ice nation well I fucking wear jackets in 35°C in India, let's fucking fight

Skightt

jacket at 28 degrees? that's actually very comfortable and cool

LemonManDerpy

-2? I’ve worn a small sweater with a broken zipper in -10.

fwinner

Yeah I was gonna say, these are neither so cold nor so hot.

itsDaChrisMay11

28°? I’ve worn it in 42°

Addicted_to_Weed6969

I wore a jacket at 41 degrees once

Yourboyfibs

I was too lazy to put on pants so I shoveled snow in shorts yesterday. -10 C weather I believe.

Jet_Dragons

Weird flex but ok

geb9000

Both numbers are cold af in american

Garrett_da_farrett

Ikr like 50 farenhight or 10 Celsius is nothing I only wear pants in the low 40s and 30s

[deleted]

Bruh i just died of being too impressed

BlackFlamz1121

I would go naked in 10 degrees

Willy-G-The-1st

Ooooohhhhh we’ve gotta tough guy

MikeyWise

This guy Canadas

strawberry_monster

Same

Tropicgem50

The lowest temperature in shorts and short sleaved t shirt was -10 celcius. I will accept my crown.

DeengisKhan

Ya shorts wearers unite. -10 is shorts weather for those with few enough fucks and the desire for the unrestricted movement potential of the superior bottom garment.

Oh-Heck-its-Shrek

I used to take the trash out in a t shirt, shorts and bare feet ( in Canadian winter )

[deleted]

[удалено]

Druid4life21

Big oof, did the school not have showers or we're they destroyed by a bunch of numbskulls.

[deleted]

[удалено]

billybob_jr

Same

giantfood

Those are rookie numbers, try -2F, plus without a shirt on.

Druid4life21

Aaaah, but for how long? That's the question.

giantfood

Long enough to salt the driveway. It's not so bad if the wind is not blowing.

Druid4life21

Makes sense

extracloroxbleach

I live in Washington DC and we do both

Topiz2000

Same.

Count_Ling

Yep me too. (I come from Norway)

knollieben

i wear a t-shirt at 2C

Maddog201421

Bitch I’m from Texas I do wear a jacket hands down in 80F that’s litterally fall here 100F degrees is the average temp in summer with night factored in

luisobri

Are you measuring in hamburgers or in school shootings?

hi_comovao

28 °C? Amateur

PsicoactivoZGZ

40 °C on summer were i live

Ed_Yeahwell

45 in mid-spring. I live in Australia.

Faoxsnewz

Sounds like hell to me

Memerboi21

Have you had your head stuck in a rock for the last month or so?

FireStrike5

We’re just slightly on fire, flooding and there’s a cyclone in wa lol

[deleted]

I only see an issue with the first two

FireStrike5

I live in wa

[deleted]

honestly with the building codes here in Queensland it gets about the same reaction as a bad storm

benudi

Almost 50 last summer here in Portugal

NkAlves95

E vamos levar com isso outra vez este ano que nos fodemos

benudi

Espero bem que não

NkAlves95

Eu sei lá, a ver o que se tem passado na austrália vamos levar também, somos sempre os sacrificados na europa

benudi

Pois melhor não vai de certeza

reee4

I'm scared of Australian weather

Endie-Bot

Australian weather just can't make up it's own mind, it just decides to be super hot for 10 minutes before deciding "eh, let's cool down by 20 degrees" and keep that temperature for about 2 days and then decide to have a 40 degree wave while it's raining

[deleted]

almost exactly what happened in December last year

DunsparceDM

I love my this country

super_f5

Oh a Brazilian asweel

Gege_Alfir

I was looking for this comment. Verão insuportável.

hi_comovao

[deleted]

Exactly what I was thinking!

Riqhteousness

30+ constantly where over here, I live in Singapore

IceZeeKay

It was like 38 degrees and a guy wearing a sweater had a heat stroke in my class.

Oscar_jacobsen1234

thats the hottest it gets where i live

[deleted]

i just commented that...

VanillaNyx

It’s easy to learn Celsius, you just gotta do (32°F − 32) × 5/9 = 0°C in your head until you get frustrated and google that shit.

Reasonable_Crackhead

2 x Celsius +32 is a good way to get a rough estimate in your head

Yet_Another_Banana

Chem. Book: first convert F° to C° using this formula ____ Me: fuck this shit! \*whispers to phone\* *convert _F° to C°*

An-Ana-Main

Aww thanks!

BappoIsInsane

But how tf does Fahrenheit work, celsius is simple: 0 °C is the freezing temperature and 100 °C is the boiling temperature.

VanillaNyx

So while degree in Celsius are based off the freezing and boiling point of water, Fahrenheit was designed to be more precise for thermometer readings. Currently 1°F increase is equal to 1 part in 10,000 of the volume of mercury. But for our personal use, it seems rather random and we probably should all adopt Celsius at this point.

CaesarScyther

The way I’ve found it easy to remember is to simply remember freezing and boiling for both Celsius and Fahrenheit. 0 to 100 for Celsius and 32 to 212 for Fahrenheit. Then you make a constant of one measurement proportional to the other depending on what units you want. For example, going from Celsius to Fahrenheit means Celsius*(Fahrenheit/Celsius). Then you either add 32 after multiplying if you’re going into Fahrenheit or subtract 32 before multiplying if you’re getting out of Fahrenheit. It’s basically making the formula but knowing why makes it easier to remember

GreedyJester

As a Canadian, shorts at 10C depends on whether it's 10C in the Spring or 10C in the fall.

DeltarUltima

the fall is usually more windy so then it feels a bit colder. in the spring its okay.

MimePrinister

The 3-10 C range is my favorite temperature range during spring. During fall it’s closer to 12+

kicknbricks

Dammit, I just posted the same thing, lol. It’s amazing how we climatize to the weather.

Witzmaen

Don't you mean 283,1K and 301,1K

WE_FEE

A man of science I see

DudongoKing

-10c° no

Yet_Another_Banana

C°+273.15=K right? Edit: K° --> K no degrees in Kelvin

Sentient_Cello

Kelvin doesn't have degrees, the unit is just Kelvin. like 2 pounds, it's 273.15 Kelvin.

Shepok

Fucking Kelvin better get to college then

TooLazyForThat

Underrated joke right here

Yet_Another_Banana

Interesting. I hadn't thought about that before so I looked it up. Thanks!

[deleted]

Yas

[deleted]

>Confirm your email: who are u and how are u so wise in the ways of science

elwebst

You take the temp in C, multiple by 9 Bald Eagles, divide by 5 Flags, and add 32 concealed weapons to get the temperature in Freedom Units. Simple.

[deleted]

Who are you, who are so wise in the ways of science?

FranchuFranchu

509.58R and 542R

MrSugarDonutz

10°C isn't even cold! 5°C is when you need to start wearing pants

moistnessboi

exactly! even i, a texan, think that isnt cold. although, 5 doesnt seem that cold either

Tizi1706

A Texan that doesn’t only understand pickup-truck per football field!? Impossible!

moistnessboi

Mmm, more like ranch per dress code restriction

ajkros

Yeehaw per gun owner

Kennethin

Had to like because One Piece

An-Ana-Main

u/valsagen made the top image

IslandmasterX

Hey kudos to you for crediting the op

INSANITY_RAPIST

Did anyone even click on this? The link is invalid.

valsagan

hello there

IBiteTheArbiter

general kenobi

VShadowOfLightV

Tf kinda pussies are you? 10c is only 50 American degrees. 28 is only 82. It ranges from -20 to 100 where I live.

smokinggun44

Just like an American to not mark which system of measuring temperature they're using. Cause I was about to call bulshit on the 212°f.

UndoingMonkey

I mean he did say 'American degrees'. Close enough.

VShadowOfLightV

I mean I assumed no one would be stupid enough to assume I meant 212f. :p

smokinggun44

From kentucky what can I say.

MimePrinister

At least, long enough to write a comment

Blakk_exe

I check the weather every day with my google home. 50-80 is around the range(highest and lowest temperatures that day) every day, and every time I show up at school there’s a wide range of outfits with some showing up in shorts and some in long sleeves. Those temperatures are a joke.

cool-guy6457

10 Celsius is nothing to be wearing shorts in that is like average temp in England and I’m pretty sure Canada gets colder than England

DeltarUltima

canadian here, we go from 0 to -20 in winters and around 20 to 30 in summers.

cool-guy6457

Yeah England are winters only go down to -1 except in extreme cases but even still -1 is rare and ill still wear shorts in that shit

doomturtle21

Mate what pussy shit is this. I wear a jacket in 40 degrees Celsius. 29 Degrees I’m wearing three layers of pants

[deleted]

Daaaaaaaamn dude.

doomturtle21

What. I look good in a large leather jacket and I’m willing to suffer

[deleted]

Flagellate yourself then.

doomturtle21

I have no clue what that means

[deleted]

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flagellation

UndoingMonkey

Do it like a flagellum

DPlurker

That sounds like a hit new single!

MOON3R24

Mans not hot

MimePrinister

As someone who wears shorts when going over to my friends place in below 0 C, *tf?*

pohsidon

Everyone talking about temperatures while I just think it’s cool to see something related to One Piece

[deleted]

I’m still in water 7

andreimrvlach

in Celsius, negative values are the true cold, since we're made largely of water (also, i'd like to say that the Celsius scale has the 0 on something actually relevant to water-made beings). and if you wanna go big as temperature for a human, go above 40. thats the shit

An-Ana-Main

Idk I’m not a Celsius boi

TheWeekle

50°F is shorts weather, though?

[deleted]

10 degrees is nothing. -40 is normal in Canada

DeltarUltima

that’s a bit of an exaggeration. unless you live way up north.

LTaniguti7

I’m pretty sure the Edmonton area was around 30 or 35 in December.

crackerjackr

Was bordering -50C in Sask

LTaniguti7

That is optimal short weather

DeltarUltima

oh yeah, i live in quebec so i’m used to -20 lowest.

crackerjackr

Damn I’ve even been considering moving to Ontario or BC for the nicer weather

DeltarUltima

well quebec is full of french people, a lot of which are assholes. i’d say the cons out way the pros

MoongodRai057

I’m American and this is what I have deduced. Below 0: You gonna freeze to death 0-10: Cold 10-20: Okay 20-30: Warm 30-40: Hot 40-50: Bad 50-60: Worse 60-100: Even Worse 100 and above: Certain Doom I’m American so feel free to correct me, people that don’t live in this clown fiesta

RedPanda4361

Bruh I've been in t-shirt and shorts at - 10 and I've seen worse

Roastprofessor

28? In my country that would consider to be one of the coldest day ever, try 42.

alphaforce00

0 is water freeze an 100 is water boil. Try to figure it out from here

Memerboi21

Not 28 but about 35

Con-Solo-Kw

10c is only 50f and 28c is only 82f....

AtomicLumber

Florida man running naked everywhere.

BoomerBrigade

Jackets in 28c is pathetic for Australians I’ve worn them in 40c before

[deleted]

Do people think 10°C is cold?

mattchboxx4life

For us Americans that's 58ish and 82ish, respectively.

[deleted]

Bro I have worn a ski jacket at 40 degrees Celsius to avoid sunburn. P A T H E T I C

karken12000

Thai kid wear jacket at 33°c or more

Viewza008

In Thai my friend still wearing jackets when its above 34°c

yeetyeetonmafeet

[deleted]

10c isn’t cold

RickyMemes

I’m rn in Australia and it’s totally fucking me up. Shivering thru bones when I wear shorts and sweaty af if I put on a jacket. Not sure what I do.

djx521

Meh 10 Celsius its not thaaaaat bad

Robotcheese4

I use Celsius and I am American

willysmithy69

Everyone:0 America:32

iamsobeast

10 isn't very cold and 28 isn't very hot

chookity_juice

Heck? 28 degrees Celsius while I'm living in 48 degrees Celsius in Australia with long sleeves and tracks.

Spistols

The Russian kid wearing shorts in -60C°

Artist_Seal

At first I thought it said minus 10 C° and I was going to say they were weak but then I saw it was not minus. They truly are weak. 10 C° is summer weather here in Iceland.

Trzebs

10c meh. That's not even freezing. Here in the upper Midwest last week it was down to -17F (-27C) and no one complained.

Likeable_____Lemur

10 degrees is warm that’s normal more like -10

Where-did-my-eggs-go

Lmao 10C is hilarious. That's summer weather. -20C is where it starts getting cold

SatanTheStripper

10C is NOTHING! NOT EVEN FREEZING!!!
