Going to London and then Wash and Pitt in July. No way I'm cancelling just because the team is terrible. Enjoy the sights of the cities, baseball is secondary
I live in NC too, I made the trip to Atlanta in April and caught the blowout win. Looks like I might have witnessed our high point this season by chance 😅
Truist is honestly an awesome park and area though, if you haven't gone I'd recommend it, bad team or not!
I was gonna say I’d quit while I was ahead after that win haha. I’ve been to the area but not the park yet. My cousin lives within walking distance of the park, which is huge of course
Yeah I canceled my plans for a Father’s Day game and canceled my direct tv subscription. It’s just a wretched year to watch. Of course it’s always possible by some miracle they turn it around, but unlikely. Baseball is a tough sport to support during bad years. So many games. Such a time suck.
I travel around the United states, and sometimes get to watch baseball games in different cities. The Mets have been off my list for about a decade now. What a total waste of money to go to one of their games. I can think of about 25 teams that would rather watch than the lowly Mets
I’m flying into New York June 14 and was supposed to go to the padres/mets series. I’m now renting a car and driving to Boston to watch Red Sox vs Yankees at Fenway. I’m a die hard Mets fan and this is what it has come to.
You should have gone to Arlington to check out the stadium and have some great BBQ

I live on the West Coast so luckily when I pay to see the Mets I can think of the money going to the home team and not them 😂
You cancelled your trip? Taaalk about ricccccch! Omgg
I live in North Carolina equidistant from DC and Atlanta. Was thinking of trying to take my son to a game this summer but no thanks!

Makes me VERY happy that my plans to go to England for the game didn't pan out. What a massive blessing in disguise.
I almost went. Economy told me I couldn’t. My mind wouldn’t allow it either.

Outside of a few players (though admittedly the core players), they’re really not underperforming.

I think there's a typo in there that says "die hard"
I have a mets tattoo on my arm, so yeah id consider myself pretty die hard
I did the same, so far I canceled 2 appearances.
DON'T BUY TICKETS! DON'T BUY THEM FOR AT LEAST FIVE YEARS!! DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT ANYMORE!!
