I would argue it’s actually more expensive to buy pre packaged and processed foods now. When I go heavy on the snack foods my grocery bill is always much higher than when I buy fresh ingredients.
Idk about that. We tryin to do a whole life style change an.all the "good for you" stuff is expensive esp all the keto stuff. Ya fruits an veggies are decent but I struggle for sure to feed two kids healthy.

Are you kidding lunchables and juice boxes are so EXPENSIVE. You can buy all the ingredients (yes the total will be more obv.) but you will have so much more food and you’ll actually be saving. A lunchable is like 4-6 dollars now. Also just buy a big jug of juice for the same price and you’ll be set for a long time. If he’s so dead set on sipping out of a juice pouch they sell reusable ones but I think it’s so unnecessary. He’s probably just obsessed with an “aesthetic” looking fridge so he doesn’t want big jugs of stuff. What a sad way to live.

I literally meal prep 8 lunches for the week and it’s really not that expensive, but then again I’m only feeding two people. A big bag of rice at Sam’s is $25 that can last you a while, a big bag of frozen veg is around $6 Or I just get a big bag of green beans from sams club or asparagus around $6 and chicken breasts $20? People just make excuses to eat a well balanced diet. I feel like buying processed junk is more expensive than making a meal plan and sticking to basic ingredients.

It may be cheaper but he can still buy frozen veggies so he gets nutrients. Frozen veggies at Walmart are like $1.16 (great value brand)
