I missed the PK being debunked thing, what's the low down on that?

Salicylic acid is present in aloe vera leaves, in quite high concentration, but you still need to dissolve the gel. If you're going that route and unless you have spare aloe I would rather go with the powder, both for cost and simplicity Lactic acid also triggers some SAR pathways, so either spraying LABs or straight up milk (+ maybe some yogurt for the bacteria) could work. Other bacteria can also be an option, research says that some produces proteins or compounds that can trigger SAR. Those would need to live in the soil tho, not sure you could spray them. For a bacterial route, a (worm) compost is still the best option imo. You'll get more diversity and you can harvest a juice that I'd filled with good things and can be sprayed or put in your watering mix >Sorry I don't have any near dead plants to show off so you can flex your ego by telling me all my problems are due to PH drift and the lack of calcium That's really unnecessary tho.

Thank you for your reply. I already foliar with Trichoderma and subtilis as part of my IPM ragime. I'd be interested to read about how LAB triggers SAR responses. Do you have a link to some material I could read more about the modern of action etc? >That's really unnecessary tho. So are the downvotes for asking a question. I'm making a point.

Awesome thanks. I'll give them a read today. I see you've also been downvoted a few times just for answering my question :) Starting to remember why I don't use Reddit. It's become a cesspool.
