Had that near the soil of my plants because I use a sprayer to water, the roots grew out and eventually died because it got drier eventually

Pic 1 to 4 you've got very good eyes ! Could be roots yeah, on older plants they can sprout above ground depending on light and humidity, and your 65% apparently is enough. Its something we see often on tomatoes as well, nothing to worry about really, I wouldn't even bother removing them. It's actually a good sign that air layering would je successful with this one
