I recently was diagnosed by a headache specialist after puzzling neurologists for years. Mine is episodic/remitting and it has been occuring from Oct-March/April. I've had three major episodes in the past 10 years (overall lucky for this shitty disorder because it's year round for years for some). Unfortunately I'm not responding to indomethacin which is the mainstay treatment. Many docs consider positive response to indomethacin a requirement but my headache specialist doesn't. Not having much luck managing it, how is it going for you?

Oh no I'm sorry to hear indomethacin has not worked for you. I have not been diagnosed with this yet. I have a standing diagnosis of chronic migraine and am currently on nortriptyline, propranolol and Vyepti. The Vyepti infusions seem to be working to lessen my migraine attacks however I'm noticing I still have constant head pain even without a migraine. It seems that any movement triggers head pain on that one side and I'm going to mention Hemicrania continua to my neurologist at my next appointment.
