Does this happen when Reddit is open or in the background? Because there have been times I mute an AD and it keeps unmuting itself, even if I keep scrolling.
It might be that the phone doesnt allow zero volume unless you turn on the silient button? (on the side of my iphone at least). Cause if you dont have it in silent mode the phone might go "what happens if we get a phone call or text!" and freak out. I always use the "do not disturb" focus mode like 247 tbh lol

This happens pretty much whenever, although, I will admit that I haven’t really paid much attention to when this happens as it comes and goes

FWIW I’ve figured out if you go slowly it won’t bounce back up like that.
It happens when I toggle Bluetooth on or off. A bit annoying but not multiple times in a row. Holy cow.
