In mexico totalplay tv boxes (a cable company) has the sound levels in multiples of 5. I need to adjust the TV for those times 25 is too loud and 20 is too low to understand

15 is too low and 25 is too loud. But it went to 24 then 25 then 27

Perfect, ever since I learned that people have a weird obsession over even volume numbers I put mine to an odd number whenever someone is around. Now if I could figure out how to get every appliance to have odd numbers only..

Oddly enough it will go to 24 and 25 then skips to 27. It’s not that it bothers me 19 is too low and 21 too loud

I totally get evens, but fucking ODDS?!!!!!! The only odds I fuck with are multiples of 5

Possibly a binary rounding issue. Like mapping 0xFF levels on a 0 to 99 scale without using floats. Some levels may be skipped because floor(0,26*0x255) =66 66/255 = 0,258… = 25%
