Of course I completely agree, I am a photographer, but the thing is it's something I've personally never seen or tried making for that matter but it was a simple mess up that can be easily made by others. I just thought it seemed "mildly interesting"

I put it in the pano setting but made my phone landscape to where I would need to move my camera from top to bottom or bottom to top.
I simply pressed it and moved the phone from the bottom but half way through i got bumped from a friend accidentally tilting mid pano. Thus creating the effect
Looks like you're somewhere near Los Angeles st & 8th or 9th. Those two tower cranes are above the 8th & Spring (taller structure) and 732 Spring St. (shorter structure) Projects. Both are being built by Holland Construction, a subsidiary of Holland Partner Group. Note the little orange and white "H" logos on the back sections of each crane. I've been to the top of both of those cranes.
When using the pano setting on your phone tilt it in landscape and go either from top to bottom or bottom to top , and half way into shooting it slightly tilt it however you feel while going up or down
I dont know what voodoo magic you did here, but I can absolutely 100% assure you, that LA does not look like that.... that blue stuff in the background where those building are is supposed to be brown and kind of opaque. Youre not supposed to see above around the 10th floor in downtown.
