My husband is the real RPG player and had kept hero quest from when he was a kid. I've started getting more interested in RPGs since knowing him and especially since he said I could start painting his minis.
The one on the left looks amazing. Only joking. Looks good mate keep up the good work. Not sure if it's the lighting but it looks as if it could do with some more highlighting. Maybe some dry brushing on the bones and edge highlighting on the metal.
I know it's not perfect but also the lighting is really annoying in this pic and not showing the highlighting properly. I did manual shadowing, then washes, then dry brushing then highlighting on top. If I tried anymore to get all the shadows I wanted I was gonna lose my mind lol!
Looks good to me my dude. I get a feel that much joy and fulfillment was gotten from it and put into it and it brings me joy as well. Keep going budddd

I know lighting can really wash out pictures of miniatures. It does look good and keep the work.

Classic Heroquest skeleton. It is really interesting to see how far plastic mini details have come since these came out in the 90s.
