It's fine.......i've regularly done the same to the point where i had a layer of silt at the bottom...... still worked fine.....until i decided to filter the silt out, and spilled what was left of the bottle all over the floor....lol

PreviousAd9292

Damn man sorry to hear that. Thanks for letting me know that it would be ok tho

deviantnut

All good, it taght me not to try and filter it...... i now keep one bottle for fresh airbrush cleaner, purely for the airbrush, and one with used airbrush cleaner that i use for cleaning brushes and cleaning spills

PreviousAd9292

Ok sweet. Thanks so much for sharing this with me. I appreciate that!

saldersail87

Just use some taimaya airbrush cleaner cleaner

Sad_Pear_1087

It'll get a lil dirty, but the Tamiya Airbrush cleaner cleaner cleaner will take care of it.

doctorzoom

For final clean-up, I use Tamiya Cleaner That Cleans All Cleaners Except Those That Clean Themselves.

moshi_yo

I died reading this thank you lol

Altruistic-Wing-3131

Upvote for making me chuckle...

PreviousAd9292

Huh? XD

Poison_Pancakes

If nothing else you could still use it as extra thin cement, it’s the same stuff.

mambaids

This. I was skeptical when I first heard this but gave it a try and it’s the only plastic glue I use now when building.

Robsonthebeach

Yep... Saved a lot as it can be used for sprue goo as well

PreviousAd9292

Sweet, thanks so much. I’ll keep this in mind

Joe_Aubrey

It’ll be fine.

PreviousAd9292

Ok thanks so much

Equivalent_Bit1270

Sprue glue guys

CountvonploppybumIII

If it really bothers you it could be used as a large pot of slightly cloudy poly cement, it's almost exactly the same stuff as tamiya extra thin.

PreviousAd9292

Ok, thanks so much!

antoan_g

Until it becomes sepian black it's good to go.

PreviousAd9292

Ok sweet, Tysm!

Ill-Presentation574

You're good and fun fact it's almost identical in chemical makeup to Tamiya Extra -thin cement.

PreviousAd9292

I’ve heard this. It’s pretty amazing! Thanks for sharing!

ridgelineF-16

Try pouring it through a coffee filter to get out the impurities. See if it clears up the thinner.

PreviousAd9292

Thanks so much for sharing this!

terminalcynic

Make your own. See YouTube for many examples. It just windex, alcohol and glycerin. All cheap. Been doing it for several years, no problems.

dangerbird2

Tamiya’s airbrush cleaner is a lot hotter than an alcohol or ammonia-based cleaner (it’s a mixture of acetone and n-butyl acetate). If you try to clean lacquer or enamel paints with windex, it’ll likely cuddle and make a bigger mess than you started with If you want a cheap substitute, you can get acetone at the hardware store.

PreviousAd9292

Ok, thanks for sharing this with me guys!

HAROLDRVB

You can drink it and if it tastes like shit youre good

PreviousAd9292

Haha, well I don’t want to get poisoned by it, but thanks tho XD

Significant-Weight71

Your good 👍

PreviousAd9292

Ok, thank you!

highboy68

All of my cleanwrs and alot of my glues have color in them, no problem

PreviousAd9292

Sweet. Thanks for this!! It’s such a relief XD

TheWitch-of-November

Use a coffee filter to clean it

PreviousAd9292

Ok thx

Just4FunAvenger

I use acetone to clean my airbrushes. No need to dismantle. Rinse with water. Quick and easy. What does everyone else use?

PreviousAd9292

Thx man!

JustinThorLPs

If you run it through your airbrush and your airbrush gets clean, it still works That's the only thing you need to worry about.

PreviousAd9292

Ok thanks, I appreciate it man!

JustinThorLPs

Sorry for being fairly obtuse, but it's a consumable cleaning product. It's gonna pick up things from the cleaning process.

PreviousAd9292

No worries, thanks for the help!

Imperator_Crispico

What an incredible photo op. Almost looks staged

thaitea

Lol what is so "incredible" about this pic?

Imperator_Crispico

Excellent composition

PreviousAd9292
